Received coupons, largest of which offered a ‘breakfast sandwich.’ Went in to this store and selected an obvious breakfast sandwich with ham, egg and cheese. Clerk objected, saying the one selected was not the one being offered. Did not trouble to ask her to explain the difference between breakfast sandwich A and breakfast sandwich B.

Seemed clear the clerk had not been briefed to expect these coupons, because the situation shocked her. Whether it was the management that failed to brief their clerks, or the advertisement department that drew up a deceptive coupon—Circle K has screwed their customers.
