Bones Backstreet BBQ Jemison

Fantastic! Got a large pork sandwich and side of beans. Pork was perfectly cooked and flavorful, sauce complemented instead of overpowering and the sweet style beans were delicious.
Will definitely hit em up again when passing through!!

Brought a bike group here and it was a bit hit. I ordered funnel cake fries and passed them around our table; the only thing that could have made them better was a little cup of strawberry or chocolate sauce to dip them it; they were awesome, like being at the fair.

Had the large pulled pork sandwich with tater tots. It was great - pork was super tender & pretty juicy, great flavor. The BBQ sauce was amazing - I wish they had put more. Next time, I will definitely ask for extra. The tater tots were super crispy on the outside, just the way I like em!

We’ve never ate in. But my husband picks up food from the jemison location, and it is always great! The lady that takes the order is very nice and provides excellent customer service!

Stopped by for the first time today. Pulling into the parking lot, it was a little confusing as to how and where to park. The lot isn't marked and there are parking bumpers seemingly placed randomly in no particular order... Once inside, I was greeted with friendly service. The tables and floor were spotless. Sweet tea is good. Food came out in about 10 minutes. Pork, bbq sauce, onion rings and corn nuggets were all great.

First time eating here. The wife and I ordered 1/2 smoked chicken. Delicious! Dining area was clean, restrooms were clean, food was hot and came out quickly. Definitely want to try this place again. We were greeted with very friendly service as soon as we walked in the door.

I moved to Jemison in August of last year (2022). I noticed this restaurant immediately, and have been eating there at least once a week ever since.

The food is top shelf, and the portions are really generous. The restaurant is extremely clean, and Ms Debra runs the dining room in a 1st class, caring way.

The BBQ chicken, which is a smoked 1/2 chicken, is absolutely mouth watering. You will never forget it if you try it once.

The fried catfish, usually served on Friday and Saturdays, is also nearly perfect.

Got the rib plate was terrific really nice staff clean place and real sweet tea they have a new big fan might go out of route just to eat there when I'm close

Fantastic BBQ with nice portions. I really get my money’s worth here. The service is not sophisticated or polished, but they get the job done. The building is really nice to eat in; carry out is packed well and stays good for serving. I have visited only the Jemison location (original is in Clanton) and highly recommend it.

We are traveling through Alabama and just happened to be staying at the RV Park down the road from Bones Backstreet BBQ. We read the reviews and thought we'd give it a try, well we are so glad we did! I had the pulled pork plate with green beans and fried okra and it was delicious! My husband had the 1/2 BBQ chicken plate which he also loved! As a matter of fact, he loved it so much that we got two more orders to go, along with two pieces of pecan pie! Also, it was really clean like the other reviews had said.

This has to be the Best BBQ around! No more Buddies or Full Moon for me! The place is so clean and the people are the friendliest! I will be going back again and again because it is worth the drive!

This was our first time here,and I have not 1 complaint. It was delicious. All of our food came out hot and fresh. I got the chicken, my hubby and Courtney got the pulled pork, Camryn got a good hot hand pattied hamburger w/ ff and ate it all.
The BBQ sauce is awesome. Different but delicious! We will definitely be going back! And the banana pudding is absolutely delicious 😋! Great service, good laid back atmosphere. Just an overall great place to eat!!!!!

This place was awesome. I ordered a BBQ sandwich, fries, baked beans, and a large sweet tea. Everything was very good.

Had the regular pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries. It was delicious! The serving size is huge!! Staff was very sweet and friendly! Will definitely be back!

I had the rib plate with baked beans and potato salad. It was so good...better than 95% of the BBQ places I've been had. Forgot to take a picture of the menu, but will post it next time. If no one else does.
