These guys are awesome. They actually want to help as opposed to many Postal Employees at different offices in the area. We have a consolidated mailbox tree which has 2 oversized lockers where they'll put bigger packages and the put the key I your own box. Well through some careful observations and quick analytic wit, I determined that a package I had been waiting on which was showing as delivered with tackling was in the locker but they never provided a key to knew. I went to the Post Office and explained my assessment. Much to my surprise and delight, one of the personnel followed me back to my neighborhood to test my theory. He opened it and there was what I was looking for! But the point is that they went out of their way, well beyond what I expected, and too care of be that day!

I went into the Owings Maryland post office today to make a purchase. I was a little apprehensive after reading the many negative reviews. To my surprise it was totally the opposite. Nicole was VERY professional, she greeted me as soon as I walked in. I also needed additional information regarding another postal matter. Nicole answered all my questions without hesitation. Thank you Nicole !!! I greatly appreciate your wonderful service.

I've never been to a friendlier USPS, and I have been to MANY offices. Evey single person I've met at this office has been wonderful, helpful, warm and happy! I'm so glad they are my local office!

Love this place! Staff is super friendly and welcoming.

Quick and easy service

The Postal Service Clerk at the front was on their cell while handling customers - needs to go to customer service training.

I would give a lower rating, but the male Postal Service Clerk had excellent customer service.

My recent visit left me with the question, "where is great customer service?" No one was at the front desk when I arrived. When I ranged the bell once as suggested on the sign, no one came for about three minutes. I ranged it again, still no one so I left. I also agree with one of the reviews on stuffing things in the mailbox. I appreciate the previous employees who was always at the front desk and great customer service.

Mixed feelings about this post office. 8/10 they are rude and unhelpful but sometimes the workers are friendly. Depends who you get helping you I guess.

There's an older lady who has served me several times. I feel so unwelcome at this location.
I'm not sure why she is so angry. Very disappointing when the younger lady is not out front helping.

Not The Same As It Use To Be When Bo and The Others Were There / Closing My Box Out After Nearly 17 Years Of Service

I wish I could give zero stars so people understand this is literally the worst Post Office! They NEVER answer the phone, and mark packages as "attempted to deliver" even when thats not the case. I have also spoken to the Post Master and my carrier multiple times about not rubber banding packages to the mailbox post and putting them on my covered porch instead and he continues to do this! Many times I have received packages that have been left out in the rain because they are so lazy to get out of the truck. I really wish something changes, I have never had problems like this from other places I have lived. So disappointed in their service, I purposely try to not send anything through the USPS just because of this Post Office...

This used to be the best Post Office until 2017. The other employees (Danny and Bobo) had retired and now they got an entire different crew. Unfortunately some of the newer employees here act like we need to give them a free vacation. They will not go in the back room to look for your package unless you are a male and good looking. I tried several times to pick up my package and whenever the older African skinnier lady (around 45 years old) is there - she tries to tell me to come back around 11:30 because she is too busy - then she lies and tells me the package is not there even though the TRACKING Number says it is there.

After seeing the previous bad reviews for this post office, I was hoping these were one off bad experiences people were having. Nope, in the 6 months I've lived here I've had more problems at this post office than all other post offices combined in the last 20+ years. Improper mail holding/forwarding where they held my mail instead of the previous homeowner's, lost mail where they call me and tell me "too bad" and make up lies about how Informed Delivery works...very disappointing experiences in a very short time frame.

The employees in the post office are generally nice except for the post master who is no help. We ordered a package and never received it. According to the driver she delivered it on my porch which did not happen . I was home all day and she never drove up my driveway. She checked it in on the development road and never delivered it. This isn't the first time either. When we went to the post office the postmaster did nothing and said well she said she delivered it and if not there we need to go find it. Very rude and no help at all.

This office doesn't answer the phone, and the staff are rude. One employee caught a nasty attitude with us after ringing the bell for service (as indicated on their sign next to the bell). After waiting for 10 minutes while we heard them in the back, we were about to ring again since we weren't sure they heard, and she said, "Oh you bout to ring it again HUH?" Just trashy. Poor customer service and inadequate workmanship.

This is the most unprofessional post office I have ever been to. Whoever manages this place does not do a good job. My packages are never delivered properly, I am never left any notes that packages have arrived and the ladies at the front desk are very rude. They never help without having attitude, without thinking they are ever wrong and always make rude comments to customers. If you can avoid this place do so. If I could give this Zero Stars I would!!

The people in side the building is very nice & helpful..my problem isnt with the people in side its for the mail delivery person. i order a package and i got an email stating it was delivered and it wasnt in my mailbox on my porch nothing so i called, the tracking order said it was in my mailbox i go check and it wasnt their...i spent over $200 on this package anyways i go up there and the lady said the driving dropped it off at the wrong house...i understand people make mistakes but this isnt the first time something like this happened. i am just fed up with this, then at that she said she would call me to make sure it was getting delivered today no call, i had to walk up to the persons house that she delivered my package too when she said she would go back to the house grab the package and drop it off for me at my house & she didnt even do that like i said i had to get it myself . i dont know. the driver needs to be more organized & careful because mail is important, maybe even be trained again .

Worst post office in the USA. I am routinely missing mail and frequently have other people’s mail in my box. Please pay attention and perform the job correctly. Important items are sent by US mail and more care should be taken to do the job accurately.

So the PO is running out of money & May have to close? Well if this PO is any indication they don’t deserve to be in business. They are rude & as another person said, act like you are bothering them by asking them to actually perform their job. Unhelpful is putting it mildly. I would prefer my mail go through another PO than have to deal with these people any more.
Infuriating.

So I’ve been living in this area forever and had stuff sent to me to my P.O. Box and my physical address. I always check to see if my stuff comes in on time or on the date but when it’s sent here at the exact moment that it reaches this location it gets returned. No one there can explain why until I start to catch an attitude. Like how am I getting some of my mail but not all of it.
