South Inlet, Delaware Seashore State Park

Stopped to check the area out and snap a few pics. We came in the off season, so parking was free. It was pretty chilly and windy, but a beautiful spot for sure.

Had an absolute wonderful time visiting recently with my son and husband. This was our first time here and the beach was beautiful, albeit a lot busier than I thought it'd be.

There was plenty of parking and there is a restaurant on site, as well as a large bathhouse with warm showers--perfect to rinse off before heading home. Bringing a wagon was useful as a lot of people tend to pick spots closer to the entrance. But there is plenty of room for everyone!

Parking is $10 all day for out of state residents, and $5 for Delaware residents. This allows you to park at ANY of their parks that require a fee, and you can leave and come back multiple times per day if needed.

A great place to observe wildlife in the ocean, fish the inlet, or to enjoy a typically non crowded beach.

Great beach area. Parking is about 10$. Lots of room for setting up your beach chairs and umbrella. Great US Coast Guard (USCG) action for photographers because fo how close it is to a USCG base. Waves are larger here than Rehoboth, and plenty of restrooms nearby.

This is my favorite place to walk or fish. I find the view breathtaking.

Great spot. Entrance fee. Sand dune, sky and ocean - just beautiful! It's a view like Assateague without the horses. Sat there for 2 hours, sooo relaxing. Off-season & before noon are the best times. Get there!

Great seashore. Wish there was more parking, but other than that they cover all the basis. Restrooms, showers on the walk way to rinse off sand, food vendors, places to play jinga, picnic tables under cover.

Great beach! $5 for locals and $10 for everyone else but you get free warm showers and lifeguards until 5. The waves are huge so watch children carefully. It's a good place to go for a day trip

For the small price you pay to park a vehicle here, you can have a great beach day. Showers included, and the on site restaurant is solid.

Watch out for turtles on the roads!

Really beautiful park.

Visited in early August. Get to the shore early to get a nice spot close to the water and be prepared for a small crowd, but don't expect anything like you would see at Rehoboth. This is a state park, so come with 5 dollars for instate and 10 dollars for out of state passes per car.

There is a small concession stand at the entrance, but be sure to bring plenty of liquids. The waves here can be some of the biggest in DE, and theres a comfortable slant from the beach into the ocean, no sudden drop offs.

I've now been to each beach in DE and this is hands down my families favorite.

This is a great beach. Just a few minutes up the road from Ocean City. The Ocean City beaches were crowded, but in Delaware, there were no crowds and we had plenty of space to play in the water and just enjoy ourselves.

My favorite get away place!

Got to check out the sunset moon rise bridge walk for the first time and it was awesome. Definitely will be back to do the next one.

Love this place !! It’s way quieter than Rehoboth the beach is clean and it’s gorgeous

This park is truly America's best beach. It has everything from great fishing, sunbathing, swimming, and a restaurant with a bar.
