Slapshot Sports Cards

Was in town for a show in downtown Boston, and my boys and I had some extra time the day after, so we wanted to hit some local card shops. Not only is his selection better than the surrounding area, but the owner was one of the nicest gentlemen I’ve ever met. The store is very relaxed and everyone one of us left with something special to bring back home. Please give this store some love. I wish I could be a regular, but I will be back.

I recently bought a high-end card from here. The selection was great and prices were fair. Mark made the transaction itself quick and painless. I'm glad I found out about this place.

Highly recommended. Not a lot of stores like this around anymore and it’s great to see. Come support local business! The owner is super nice and has a great selection of sports memorabilia and trading cards. It’s the only place I’ve seen carry certain sealed product of older Magic: The Gathering sets. FNM has a nice group of people as well. Come check it out!

Great card shop! Owner is friendly and knowledgeable and has a great selection of both vintage and modern cards (singles and boxes). But, most importantly, he had exactly what I was looking for: vintage football. I was able to complete my set of 1964 Philadelphia football, 1954 Bowman football, and 1955 Bowman football. I was also able to pick up several other vintage football cards. Prices are good.

I will definitely be back the next time I am in town.

The owner is wonderful to chat with and is very honest and open about prices, cards, memorabilia, etc. Tons of singles to look through, everything from newer product to vintage, all fairly priced! Great selection of packs and boxes that you won't find anywhere else without the huge mark up in price. Wonderful experience in this store every time.

Mark is a great guy and has been running a quality shop for a long time. He is fair, selling at very reasonable prices, and is quite knowledgeable about everything he deals in. The place is clean, well organized and everyone who comes to play magic is very nice. He's especially good with kids and animals as well. Definitely would recommend!

Great shop, tons and tons of options when it comes to magic the gathering singles and sealed products. Highly recommended. Tucked away behind other shops can be a little difficult to locate if you haven't been before.

Mark runs a great shop. He always has lots of new product, along with a great variety of vintage singles. Absolutely one of the best spots in the area for Sports/trading cards.

I've known the owner for many years. Great man! He has been in business for over 26 years. Very friendly and respectful to his customers. Also a great place to meet new people if your into magic the Gathering.

This shop is amazing, i am a Mtg player, and this shop had so many cards that are hard to find, and are all amazing, he directly looked up the price for each card, and was willing to negotiate on any of the cards, the shop owner also has brand new packs of really old sets, like mirroin besieged, and modern masters! Not to mention in the first pack i bought from this place had a great planeswalker! Honestly, this is my new card store.

Large selection of new cards. Many different sports and games. Great selection of baseball cards. Owner is very nice and gives kids free national baseball card day and national hockey day packs. And once I step into the door I am very happy to see the exact thing I want on his shelves.5 Star

If you miss your old hobby shop, well here is your new one! Mark is a great guy, very knowledgeable, huge selection, and great pricing. Slapshot is the ONLY place I go to buy packs, boxes, memorabilia, or anything I need to protect them. He also carries Magic cards, Pokemon, and all the other collecables. Do yourself a favor and stop by and check it out. You WILL be back!

Walking into Mark’s shop is quite the experience. If you like sports, he has it. You like CCG’s he has that too. The MtG crowd is small, but loyal. I like going there too. Like others have said Mark is a good owner. Very knowledgeable, and fun to talk to

This place is great. The sheer amount of sports memorabilia and the owner's knowledge put this store well above the rest in this area. The owner is always willing to help, and the prices are not expensive at all. In fact, the Magic packs he sells are well under what most places are charging nowadays. Just a nice place with an honest owner.

The owner is fantastic, informative and I enjoyed my time talking with him. The shop has a great assortment of Magic the Gathering sealed product and singles; I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

They sell all kinds of pocket pages individually including 6-pocket trading card pages. Four pocket pages for $1. The box of 100 9-pocket pages costs $25. They sell dice and toploaders. No searching for trading card sets unless you pay. They sell 2 count 50 card boxes for $2.

Great place to go and buy Magic Cards, good selection and owner knows where to find all the cards you need for your deck. Also very knowledgeable when it comes to baseball and sports cards and memorabilia, was able to recommend a box of baseball cards that my dad really liked. Go by Slapshots and check it out. Route 1 in Saugus right by Boston Market!

Good shop with lots of selection and some cool singles. Competitive prices. Shop owner gave us a deal on some old Olympics pins, which was nice of him.
