Egypt Valley Country Club

This was a lovely wedding venue. We attended the NYE wedding event, and it was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen kindly accommodated my dietary restrictions and served me a wonderful meal. The staff was attentive and polite. It was elegant, and I can't wait to see the professional photos- I'm sure they will be amazing. Perfect setting for a perfect evening!

The Best Golf Course and Country Club.

We went there for our employee Christmas party. The food was fantastic top notch A1. I had a great time.

Colleen is amazing!! We were very impressed with the event space and even more so with her as the event coordinator. She is professional, personable and helpful. Colleen made the planning process easy and enjoyable. With her expertise comes next level thinking adding great value for customers. She kept the flow of the whole event during the day & night smooth and on track. She is very organized , responsive and is made for what she does.

This was a beautiful course with its fair share of hills. Not a lot of water or bunkers, but fast greens and a challenge for a new golfer.

One of the best clubs I've played at so far. Draw back no signage on the holes. However, cart p a t h s Lead You from One Tee Box to the next. Service was wonderful. They supported veterans Golf Association. However this club is private.

My now-husband and I had agreed that Egypt Valley would be our perfect wedding venue before we even made it back to our car after our first venue visit. We were looking to plan a December wedding with a warm, elegant atmosphere. The ceremony space and ballroom for the reception are both classically decorated with many windows providing natural light. The beautiful light fixtures stole our hearts and created the warm glow that we were looking for. And the stunning, elegant Christmas decorations added so much to the look of our special day.

The venue itself left nothing to be desired but Emily, Egypt Valley’s event coordinator, is the true star of the show. She was an absolute delight to work with from our first visit, through all of the “small detail” meetings, to the big day when she kept our nerves at bay by keeping everything (and everyone) running smoothly. We genuinely believe we couldn’t have planned such a perfect wedding without her. Her kindness, positive attitude and talent at what she does shines through every interaction with her.

Our wedding ceremony and reception went off without a hitch! Our guests appreciated being able to walk straight from the ceremony into the cocktail hour (held in our reception space so people could sit at their leisure). The food was AMAZING! Friends have told us that they left our reception feeling full - not a common feeling at the end of a wedding. And every single staff member was kind and helpful throughout the entire day.

We could not recommend Egypt Valley any more highly! They were instrumental in creating the wedding of our dreams and we are so very thankful!

Colleen at Egypt Valley Country Club is the best to work with! She is so organized, knowledgeable, and responsive. It definitely took A LOT of the stress out of planning our wedding day. She answered all our million questions with very detailed responses and was always super friendly! Every detail for the day was planned out and written down so everyone was on the same page. Day of she was there checking in to make sure everything was going well. She was also a LIFESAVER when she brought out curling irons when my hair started to lose its curls and we needed to re-curl it before the ceremony.
The bridal suite is a definite must – it is a great space for getting ready and they have so many items in case you forget something! We were also able to order in a lunch buffet and let me tell you their grilled cheese and tomato soup is SO GOOD.
Egypt Valley is such a beautiful spot all around! We were going to have our ceremony out on the 10th tee box on the golf course – breathtaking background. Unfortunately, it rained on our wedding day, but we made the best of it. Colleen was able to quickly rearrange the small ballroom from our cocktail hour room into the ceremony room. AND she was able to get our money back for renting the ceremony chairs that we didn’t need anymore. I definitely recommend having the ceremony outside though, and taking pictures out on the course if weather permits.
The large ballroom is a gorgeous space, we had the head table on risers and the dance floor in the middle, with round tables on each side. The room was perfect for our ~125 people wedding. The ballroom was all set up the day before and we were able to drop things off at our rehearsal which made things a lot easier day of as well! They have SO MANY napkin color options and we were able to pick one that matched our colors almost exactly – if you’re into things matching like me it will make you happy. You don’t need chair covers – their chairs are a nice green and not ugly!
The food was delicious! We got so many compliments from guests about how much they loved the food. We did a buffet style with chicken cordon bleu, grilled salmon, dauphinoise scalloped potatoes, steamed broccoli, and sauteed julienne vegetables. The grilled vegetable risotto (plated) for guests with allergies/dietary restrictions was also a huge hit. The waitstaff were AMAZING – so friendly and helpful.
We also ordered our cake through the Egypt Valley bakery. They were able to make our vision come true with some inspiration photos and it was delicious. I definitely recommend doing a small cutter cake for photos and then sheet cakes in the back to serve to the guests. We had a 2 tier cutting cake and 2 sheet cakes and there were only 3 pieces left at the end of the night. We got to take the leftover cake home, and they make you a new one on your one year anniversary (no having to freeze the top layer of the cake!).
Book Egypt Valley Country Club for your wedding!!! You will not be disappointed!

Played in a golf outing here. Nice challenging course that is well maintained. The staff was friendly and positive. They also did an excellent job with the food. I think my golf ball attrition was negative 3 thanks to the magnets they put in the water. Other than that, it was a great experience.

I'm a professional photographer and I've been to dozens of high-end venues. Egypt Valley Country Club is top-tier! The wedding reception that I photographed there was a "social distancing" wedding, but it was still amazing. Emily and her staff were efficient, polite, and professional. My particular server, Linda, was so good that I never even had to speak to her (but I did anyway just because I wanted to thank her for such great service!). I also have to say that the beef that we had at Egypt Valley was literally the best I've ever tasted (and I've tasted a LOT). You know something is delicious when with every bite you say "oh, that's good!" in your head (sometimes even out loud). What a beautiful venue with some fabulous areas for photos.

Probably the best golf course in Kent County for both condition and course design.

Great family friendly club experience. This is not your grandfather's country club. Fun for the whole family from championship golf courses (2!) to swim facility and tennis. The social calendar is for all ages. New patio is the best in West Michigan.

This is a great place to have a function. The atmosphere is fantastic, and beautiful. The decor around the entire grounds is just awesome. I really enjoy this place it was our 50th class reunion.

One of the best golf courses I've played! Rolling hills, nice landing areas, and yet, not a "target" golf course. Superb fairways and greens. Nice views of the Egypt valley. You will not be disappointed.

Just went for a job interview and must I say it is its own little paradise! There property maintenance seems superb, and what implies to me is the restaurants Chef and staff seem like decent people to work with. ☺
