First Watch

First time coming here and it was wonderful. Loved the options available. The food was excellent! Fresh clean food. I adore what they are doing here and definitely found my favorite breakfast place. I plan to return and tell as many people as possible to try them out!

Some coworkers and I went for brunch on a Friday morning. For some of us, it was our first time trying First Watch. We all tried something different and everything we had was so delicious! The atmosphere was nice, our server was extra sweet and helpful! I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

My husband and I just had an incredible breakfast experience @First Watch in Gainesville. Not only was it delicious, as always, but we happened to sit next to the owner, Steve. He was so kind and allowed us to try each of their signature 4 juices. Wow! The fruits and vegetables are juiced daily, with only the natural ingredients, and are exceptional! Hubby’s favorite was the Kale Tonic, and mine was the Morning meditation with beet juice. I never knew that beet juice was so delicious!
Big thanks to Steve for our breakfast and our juice tasting!
If you get the chance, go to First Watch and try their food AND juices!

Waited 45min but it was definitely worth it!!!
Only issue was music was too loud. But very good food and service.

Great place, the atmosphere is very nice, servers very attentive... A must go...

All great as always, the only dowside us that we order one of their juices without ice because temperatures are getting lower and they brought the juice in a smaller cup instead of the regular cup, my guess is to make up for the ice but it doesn't feel right, i have added a few pictures to see it.

You’re gonna want to get out of bed early for a First Watch for brunch! (Although you don’t have to be an early riser to enjoy it - they serve breakfast/brunch/lunch from 7 a.m until 2:30 in the afternoon daily!)

We had the pleasure of trying the restaurant at their soft opening this Sunday and it was seriously great. The food is awesome, our server was warm and responsive and the vibe is bright and modern - good coffee and good music- just what you want to get you going in the morning!

We had trouble picking our meals because there were so many things that looked delicious.

I started with one of their signature juices, the Purple Haze, a sweet and tangy iced floral tea drink as pretty as it is refreshing.

I had the lemon ricotta pancakes topped with fresh strawberries. Two huge and fluffy pancakes with a delightful crispness to the edges. The lemon ricotta topping was tart and blended well with syrup and butter. I had turkey sausage as my side and received five plump links.

My husband had the farmhouse hash, a heaping bowl of potatoes with herbs, avocado, bacon, tomato, onions and cheese and topped with two eggs any style. It was bright and fresh and so filling. It came with some really delicious multigrain toast and jam.

His side was the biscuits and gravy. Their sawmill gravy was awesome, creamy, peppery and a perfect compliment to the big fluffy biscuits.

For the future, the French toast, smoked salmon Eggs Benedict and elevated egg sandwich with bacon and Gruyère cheese are already calling my name.

We left stuffed and happy. So thrilled First Watch is calling Gainesville home now!

Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. I could eat this every day. The only down side is it's always busy, but that also shows how good it is. I waited an hour to be seated and it was worth the wait.

I usually don't do reviews but I always read them so I decided to leave a review I love 1st watch I go min 3 times a week I dine in at times when I do I request Meredith she is the bestest lol but she is a good waitress u can eat inside or enjoy the beautiful day along with a mimosa or drink from the bar 10/10 for me

My girlfriend and I went on a date here for brunch. We have been to First Watch before but different locations. This relatively new location was very lively. The food was fantastic as always and our server was really attentive. We will be back!

I went during peak hours on a sunday. I waited for about 30 to 45 minutes for my takeout order. It was okay. I knew that I was going to be waiting. The food was awesome I got the chicken, pecan and honey mustard. I have no clue what the official name is but it was good!!!

Great food and great service!! Went to eat for my birthday and had a great time I had breakfast tacos 🌮 mint mocha and fresh coffee ☕ had a great time

We ordered online, four entrees with additional sides. Food was ready when expected, though missing some side items. I was able to return to the restaurant and was promptly provided fresh replacements. What could have been a tasty breakfast with minor disappointment was, appreciatively, a lovely midday meal with an excellent side of thoughtful customer service.

Very first time coming here. Food was great, place was clean, juices are very fresh. I will return. Be ready to wait a minute or two BUT that is a great sign for excellent food.I will return.

Yesterday was my friend's and mine 1st time. We were surprised at how busy it was for a Friday. Yet the wait was only 10 minutes. Our waitress, Shelby, was so helpful in describing the menu choices. She was right about the Kale Tonic. It is refreshing and tasty. We both vowed to come back for the Monterey Club sandwich. A choice to put on repeat. The dining room is a bit louder than I prefer, but we were able to talk normally. The outdoor seating might be a quieter place to sit on busy days. Definitely have added First Watch to a go-to place for a yummy and healthy meal. Even the kale!

We went for the soft opening and it was great. The staff were extremely friendly and there were a lot of them. The restaurant was busy for the soft opening but we didn’t wait long for anything. I brought the whole family. We got an omelette, the ricotta pancakes and one of the breakfast combos. We tried the iced coffee (which was fantastic) one of the juices which my daughter really enjoyed and hot chocolate which was also tasty. The food was fresh and well made. The restaurant is clean and nicely redone. I have been to a First Watch before and the experience was similar. I enjoyed the food. I will say that the selection isn’t huge so don’t come expecting a 5 page menu like some other breakfast places. I also appreciated the attention to detail regarding food allergies. Great experience we will come back!!

Beautiful location. The food was delicious and the wait was not bad at all. I am super impressed with the staff, they were eager to help in anyway they could. From getting the door to making sure you had a bag for your leftovers. Kudos!

This new First Watch is poppin’! Our server, Katie, was very nice and the food was amazing! I got the Chickichanga. My friend Gabriel really enjoyed his Market Hash as well; just look at that smile!
