My husband and I always enjoy coming there for breakfast or lunch; it’s always good food and a light positive atmosphere. The waitstaff is so friendly and we always have a good laugh about something.

We absolutely love this place! Service is great an the food is even better!

Pizza steak is the best around but the house cut fries with gravy are the best!There's a reason they've been around forever and a day.. don't miss out on this very fine establishment.

I enjoy the small town feel of old
dinners. The food get speacle attention love care and seasoning. I had the creme beef and gravy. One of my favorites made at home. They done a fabulous job. Service was great, and to complete a great breakfast someone paid for me and my sista girls breakfast. Thank you Tenisia for the invitation to breakfast. I'd return in a heartbeat. Support our ma an pa shops. There always my favorite.

Stopped in this morning and had the special ... one of the best Western Omelets anywhere 👌 Add in the tasty home fried potatoes and excellent service ... I highly recommend!

We get the country fried steak and home fries I love this place I tell people a hidden gem once you go you we will be back

Had never eaten here before and so my son and I gave it a try and sure glad we did , our steak sandwiches were excellent and so we will be coming back again for sure !!

Great place good food very nice staff

This is one of my family's favorite breakfast spots. Good food, good prices. But my favorite part is the great service and homey feeling you can only get from a small family owned business. The few employees are the same ones who've been there for years. The waitresses are the best! They work hard and are a genuine kind of friendly.

First time in and they had a slammed Sunday. Told us up front there would be a wait for breakfast. I saw the food coming out of the kitchen looking hot, fresh and yummy. It was worth the wait. I cook for a living and have my own kitchen. This food was great. Corned beef hash was perfect. The two ladies working to make everyone's Sunday breakfast a great meal. Tip them well they deserve it. We'll be back for more.

I love this because it is good homemade taste. Curtis who is the main cook is absolutely fantastic. The owner and her staff are all wonderful people, friendly, and hard workers. The prices are reasonable for the food.and they have specials each day. One of my favorite specials is the Ham Pot Pie on Tuesday and the Battered Fish Pieces on Friday. I choose this place for the hometown feel as well as the great food. It's been a favorite place of mine for many years. Also if you like fried cauliflower it is the best in Altoona.

One of our favorite places to grab something different. Service is good and the dining room is kept clean. The only downside for me is the that their hours close a little early, so I don't eat there often because of my work hours.

Awesome basic breakfast here! If you’re looking for just a good hometown style breakfast, definitely visit greenwood steakhouse. I still don’t understand the name of the restaurant since it’s not a steakhouse, but I’ll overlook that lol

We have always loved the greenwood steak house but we just tried calling 4 times for takeout. All we got was to give remote access code. What the devil was that? Got tired of calling. Really disgusted cause they have the best steak sandwiches.
