The soft pastel selection is so dreamy! The selection is unparalleled. They have a station set up to try some of the brands, which was a huge help. I ended up picking out a mix of brands just to try out the different textures/shapes. I can't wait to go back!

Fantastic selection, website easily navigated, love the explanation of the range of pastels softness. Packing was done with great care so there would be a minimal amount of breakage. I ordered the UArt paper, which was back ordered, quite happy to wait until entire order could be shipped together. Much to my surprise and delight, my entire order arrived 3 days before promised! And I left out that prices are often lower than other online sellers!

They carry a full line of everything a pastelist needs. Quality pastels, papers, and all manner of supplies and boxes. I especially love the singles/open stock availability. I have used the online store and their customer service is super. Everything is packed well and shipped out quickly. I only wish I was close enough to take advantage of their pastel workshops!

WowZA! This place is incredible. Excellent people, selection and classes. I took a 4 day class with Lisa Ober here in March 2018 and also purchased pastels. It's like a candy store for pastel artists. I HIGHLY recommend a visit and taking a class. I also highly recommend purchasing your pastels here they have an exceptional selection of pastels and paper. Worth a visit but I order online too.

Pastel artists wonderland. Several nice books, great selection of paper and pastels in every color. Worth a visit to stock up on pastels and try every brand of stick and pencil. Super nice people. Can't wait to take a workshop here someday.

Recently, I was headed out on a plein air painting trip to a remote location in eastern Washington and managed to forget my pastel paper at home. One call to Dakota and they were able to find a way to ship pastel paper to me - which arrived the next day! This type of outstanding service is hard to find. Staff is so informative one sales girl ( black hair) is my go to on questions regarding chalk pastels. They have a HUGE selection of chalk pastels prices are very good, qualiy is unsurpassed will never buy chalks from retail craft stores again.

If you are a student or an expert artist this is the place to buy your materials. Forget going to craft stores. Top of the line inks,oils, acrylic and so on. Large selection of canvas and paper.

Its a great place to get pastels, and other art supplies. They also have art classes taught by industry professionals that give amateur artist wonderful tips.
