The staff was very friendly. Place was beautiful. I'd love to visit it in the summer. All their items are imported from Germany.

Downside is some of the items are very pricey. They look to be very good quality though.

This business participated in New Oxford's chocolate walk. Very good chocolate they had. Had they not participated, I may not have stopped in today.

Fabulous selection of specialty ornaments, smokers, tree toppers and other Christmas decor from all over the world. A magical place that will fill your heart with the remembrance of happy holidays past. Wide range of prices and the most pleasant customer service you can find. We go here every year to add unique pieces to our tree. The fun of finding and choosing from the 3 "ornament houses" on site is part of the memory made. There is handicap parking but inside access for a wheelchair would be challenging as the shop is very full of treasures. If you love ornaments and German-made items this is a "must visit" on your Gettysburg & Hanover area to-see-list. 🎄

I go there every year for a unique hand crafted gift for my wife. Bought a two tiered nativity two years ago. The heat from the candles makes the nativity spin! Amazing! It’s a family heirloom that I’ll be proud to pass on
to the next generation. The smokers are so cool too.
Three buildings packed with incredible handcrafted pieces. A must stop to at least browse. Maybe not take the little ones though. Their hands won’t be able to resist- not touching.

Beautiful family-owned store laid out across 3 buildings in the heart of New Oxford. While many of the reviews we’ve read say it’s expensive, we found prices to be right in our expected range (lots of stuff for less than $10). Everything the store sells is handmade in Germany and the owners go to Germany multiple times a year to get supplies for the Haus.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our our crazy questions (lots of things there with beautiful German traditions).

If you’re in New Oxford (or even going through it) and love Christmas, this is most definitely a can’t miss stop.

Diverted off I-81 and stopped at this wonderful Christmas shop. Well worth the extra time. According to the staff everything is crafted in Germany. There is an amazing selection of beautiful glass and wooden ornaments.

Our favorite Christmas shop. We have met the owner and loved hearing about his trips to Germany to collect items for the store. We stop in the main store and the Gettysburg store. It’s a don’t miss of you are in the area.

This is a great German shop with many Christmas items to choose from, German smokers, pewter ornaments, candle spinning, decorative lacey doilies, wooden pyramids, beer steins and many more. All items are imported from Germany.

Beautiful imported holiday decorations right from Germany. The craftsmanship is top notch. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend for people who love rare, hand crafted Christmas decorations and ornaments.

I went in to look for an ornament as a gift, and ended up buying a pyramid and smoker as well. A nice little shop, quality German ornaments, smells wonderful. The weird one star review piqued my interest... apparently some locals were in a tizzy last year because the owner DIDN'T support insurrectionists. *shrug* Happy with my purchases, and I will be back.

The Christmas Haus is one of kind. An amazing selection of fine German Christmas decorations of all kinds. A great gift shop, and a charming setting that takes you to Christmas no matter what season it is. These are not bargain plastic ornaments. Even if you don't need Christmas goodies quite yet, it's well worth looking just to take it all in. And the staff is very welcoming.

Happened upon this place while checking out antique shops in the area. So glad I did! Three small buildings filled with authentic German Christmas items. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend you stop by!

An absolutely wonderful experience. This is not my first visit to the Christmas Haus - the selection of unique Christmas decorations Old World charm and magic makes one return (even if it isn't a holiday)!! The staff is most pleasant and helpful. Of course I will return at least once more before Christmas.

I spent a few years in Germany as a little boy and was overwhelmed by nostalgia when I walked in. There was nothing of low quality and it would have been easy to spend a $1000 or more. I didn't but suspect I might in years to come. Worth the trip just for the experience.

If you love authentic German Christmas ornaments, smokers and nutcrackers you will love this shop! It's amazing, like visiting a little German village during the holidays and often you will smell the sent of mulled wine, hear the German woodcarvers and glass blowers at work. A must see if you're in New Oxford or Gettysburg area and you're a fan of Christmas.

A true New Oxford, Adams County, Pennsylvania treasure! A quaint shop/boutique setting with a selection of Christmas, German Christmas items that is second to none anywhere else in the area...or region. There are rare and hard to find items that you can. ..and will find here. If you are local, or a tourist traveling through the area. Put this treasure chest on your itinerary. Stop in and explore all the treasures within.

What a nice unexpected surprise. Great variety of traditional German ornaments and decorations. Friendliest staff memember I have ever come across greeted us and really knew her business. I wish I caught her name, but remember she was a Dameron girl!
