Paula's Kitchen

Probably some of the best food I've had for 50 miles of the Lyons/Vidalia area. I didn't expect much for a Southern restaurant offering Lobster Ravioli, but wow was I impressed. Home made sauce really made the dish.

I've also had smash burgers in the past here and can safely say they are the best burgers for at least 50+ miles.

If you're in the area or just visiting, Paula's is definitely worth a visit for that truly homemade taste without all the dishes.

Wow…. Fresh Crispy, cool salad. I had a bone in ribeye ordered medium. It was PERFECT! More flavor and cooked to perfection better than any local steakhouse I’ve eaten at. My wife had lobster and shrimp. DELICIOUS!!

In addition to perfect food the home town atmosphere and friendly, smiling folks made this a great experience! Never knew such a small diner was a gem in hiding! Make the drive it’s worth it!

Dropped by today to pickup a couple dinners to go. Pot Roast with potatoes,
carrots and onions and baby lima beans. They had chicken and dumplings too. I got a side order of this and they were delicious. Wonderful selections, great staff and enjoyable atmosphere.

Lyons' has a hidden food jewel.

Simply put, go there. Don't think abbot it. Just. Go!

Make the left turn at 130 if you are northbound on US 1 to get to their parking lot, which will be on your right after the turn.

The food is amazing. We had the fried green beans and fried green tomatoes to start. Our group then had the Brunswick stew and burgers... You must try the BBQ Potato Bake side dish (picture attached)! Really, just order it...maybe even use both sides for it.

And the desserts? Yeah, you're doing you want to save some space in the tank for them. The four of us had three. As we each shared around the table faces lit up, smiles flashed and hung on, the ceiling got looked at as our eyes rolled back in our heads. You may just want to go for dessert one night. The strawberry cake and peanut butter cup cake were both spectacular. The banana pudding, well, there just aren't words.

Looking forward to my next trip to Vidalia so I can go to Paula's Kitchen!

Outstanding place. It was just quick couple of miles off I 16 and worth the drive. Everything I've tried there was great.

This relatively new restaurant is off to a good start and running wide open. They have delicious food and the service is excellent. I have not been a single time when one or both of the owners didn’t come out to chat and ask how we liked the food.

Paula’s Kitchen has an old fashioned family restaurant feel to it. It’s a meat and two vegetables kind of place, but they also feature hamburgers, steaks, and pork chops like you would find at a 5-star restaurant.

This place has the best steak in town! The staff is very friendly and makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. So far I have really enjoyed the steak, ribs, meatloaf, fried green tomatoes, fried shrimp, squash casserole, Brunswick stew, and don't even get me started about seafood night (Friday). Give it a try folks, you won't be sorry.

So we heard about this new place in Lyons and finally decided to try it out, FIRST Off we noticed that EVERY VISIBLE EMPLOYEE GREETED YOU WITH A WARM SMILE, me and my boyfriend both ordered the steak and I’ve got to admit IT WAS PERFECTLY COOKED AND SEASONED, most of the time when I order medium well, I NEVER EVER GET IT!!! The food was freshly made to order and perfectly prepared as well, considering that my boyfriend and myself both got steak, the price was under what you would pay at J&Bs yet the steak at Paula’s was much much better than the actual steak house!!! Also, ordered a slice of layered chocolate cake and it was AMAZINGLY MOIST AND SO VERY DELICIOUS!!!! The staff are all very welcoming and friendly and the owner seems genuinely sweet!!! We will be going back to Paula’s and will also spread the word to my huge family as well!!! Continue to keep up the GREAT WORK!!!

This place is.... awesome. Just awesome. The service was fantastic; super friendly staff and willing to put up with a bunch of questions. The food is amazing, and it looks like they change up the menu by the day/meal, so its always a bit different. First time here, but I travel in the area often and will be returning!

Love this place! The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly! Roger and Paula always come out to check on everyone and make sure customers are satisfied. Paula's has become a staple for our family's "eat out" nights.

I don't give them 6 stars because there's no choice but this place is amazing in combination with the food and the employees, great customer service and the food is out of this world.. Bravo 👏 Paula's..

The food was *REAL* and really good. Everything was seasoned well and the ingredients were fresh and of good quality. Good portions and friendly staff. They did a great job during a busy dinner service.
