The regular gal, Cosetta, who staffs the Kiefer Post Office is amazing... super kind and friendly, efficient, and reminds you of the best of our nation's people.

She brightens the day of everyone who uses this Post Office. What an amazing asset to the USPS!

I used to pick up mail from a personal box and a business box once a day. Everyday I would go through the mail inside the post office and sift out the mail that should not have been delivered to our box. At least twice a week there was a piece of mail in one of those boxes whose address would be one or two numbers off of the box it was placed in. I would take the mail to the front counter and explain that it was not ours each time. This continues the entire three years we held those post office boxes.
A year ago I was expecting a Christmas package but due to my work schedule I was unable to go to the post office during its hours of operation. My mother was able to go and asked multiple times if I had received a package. I called during breaks to check on its whereabouts. I had not received any notices saying there was a package to pick up. All of the tracking information said that it was at the Kiefer post office. In April I was able to go to the post office when it was open. I asked about the package again. The person working there looking in the back for a solid five minutes. I heard a lot of things being moved around. She brought out a box that was two feet tall and wide. On the side it had two columns of date where they had written the date weekly since it had arrived in December. It also had condensation rings on the top. They had been using my package as an end table for three and a half months without giving any indication it had arrived.
