Joann's has just about everything any crafty person might want. They always have tons of items in stock, new products and the good old standby items as well. I love their yarn selections! They have the biggest selection of yarns anywhere and prices are reasonable and comparable to other stores. The selection of fabrics and decorating items continues to surprise me. I could spend hours in the store just looking we around.

Even my son won't stay in the car when we pull up in front of Joann's. Always a delightful store to go into with lots of things that interest us

I do not recall ever having a negative experience at Joanns. The staff is always very helpful if I need help finding anything or if I ask for advice. They have been well stocked and creative in their displays. The biggest bonus for me are there coupons. I downloaded their app so I always have coupons at my fingertips. I never pay full price for anything there!

This store was the last stop on our most recent shopping trip in Gainesville. My wife picked up 24 cookie cutters that she previously did not have in her inventory. She sorted through a bin where all the pieces had been marked down to .50 cents each. Great deal!!!
The staff was friendly and greeted us several times after we entered the store, through to checkout. I highly recommend you visit for all your crafting needs.

Fantastic place. I purchased some fleece and realized I didn't have a place to cut at 122 inches. So I took it back hoping to use a classroom table to measure & cut this fabric. Besides being bulky my grandson is over 6 ft and I'm making him a blanket for college. Of course it's the college logo Georgia tech! (Rah rah rah). Well, it seems no more in-store classes meaning no more tables available. I drove over an hour to use JoAnns tables to cut a square piece for this blanket. Lisa, an employee helped me and suggested use the large roller area, which I did. Still a bit short of my wishful 4 foot length cut point, I threw my material on the cutting table, threw my measuring tape over the folded fleece and measured my fabric length. Squared it and cut the piece. Poor Lisa got fussed at in her earpiece, but choose to help a customer at the other end of the counter so I could get a straight cut and as not to interrupt other customers needs. Well, I finished, bought 5 packages of Navy blue blanket binding (the website said this store has 24cpkg of Navy satin blanket binding), so I didn't inconvenience anyone by taking so many packages. I wadded up my pieces of fabric stuffed them back into my bag (brought in with my fabric, scissors, pins, etc....) And headed for the check out. If you were one of the customers there while I was there, thank you so very much for understanding. Grand sons are so important and I can't get on the floor any more at 70 this year. To JoAnns, thank you for allowing me to measure & cut on your table. Honestly, I was planning to use a teaching table. I had no idea you don't have them anymore. And thank you to Lisa, the nice employee, who offered to help me and got bombarded by customers, (including my husband - looking for...a replacement exacto saw blade..which wasn't in stock at this JoAnns) but was able to give me directions - from the sidelines - to help me get the fabric on the long cutting table to help me (or get me out of that area quicker) how nice she was. I'm so sorry your boss fussed at you, but Thank you so very much for all your help. Yes, I recommend JoAnns. Get on their coupon list - I got $10.00 off AND 40% off an item I ordered because I get the coupon bookie AND coupons on the text on my phone. Don't get me wrong, I use Wally often for items/fabric/thread/etc. that I need and can find/procure here in Toccoa... But I do love being at - looking at - finding ideas and purchasing at JoAnns and our Gainesville branch is usually a wonderful set of folks!! Oh, checkout was quick, pleasant and enjoyable, as the checkout person knew what was going on! Thank you for this opportunity!

Always friendly works and very clean! Today I went in and made a mistake think the fabric that I got cut was on sale when it wasn't, then I couldn't get my phone to pull up the coupon... the girl at the register was so patient and even used her own phone for the coupon for me! Made my day ❤

A smaller store but it has everything you need. They have a wide fabric selection and a ton of sewing accessories, machines, and patterns. They have even started selling cosplay foam. They have a large jewelry making selection as well.

Joann's is one of my absolute favorite places to shop for ANYTHING craft. If you sew, paint, knit, cook, or make jewelry, flower arrangements or literally Anything craft, this is the store for you. Plus I just luv the seasonal selections.

Staff is helpful. Store is clean. A little overpriced but that isn't set by the store so I'm not counting it against them.

The Gainesville JoAnn's is 2x as big as the Athens location! I could hear The Hallelujah Chorus as I crossed the threshold. Need I say more...😇🎶🙏🏼
