Goshen Pond Camping Area

Great little public campground, really cheap prices. A bunch of nice hiking areas and if you go after a lot of rain there's a lot of areas around the water ways with tiny water falls which are very tranquil.

It’s a good spot for camping. I wish people next to our campsite were not smoking pot, as they got louder even at mid-night. I don’t care if they smoke or drink as long as they don’t bother people around, and besides that, it was a pretty good experience.
We did see a snake right by our campsite during the day, I’ve uploaded a video as well for reference. I hope it wasn’t poisonous, and fortunately, I didn’t see it again during our stay.

This is a true gem if you are looking for a quiet place to camp! At night there was no noise but the sounds from the forest. It got really dark as well and peaceful, it made for a great night's sleep! This is a nature lovers paradise with a lot to walk and hike around. The campsites are really cheap, just 3 dollars for a jersey resident and only 6 for non residents! It is "primitive" camping so that means no electric or wifi, a pit toilet is on-site and bring bug spray. There is a water pump which is potable but best to bring your own and toilet paper. All in all this is just a perfect place to get away from it all!

As a man who grew up free camping in this area before the camps were set up, there is no spot like this on earth if you know what is around and can drive on old fire roads and dirt bike trails!

Haven't camped here yet, but I did go kayaking. It was great getting back into the small areas and taking in the peace and quiet of this little pond. There were a lot of beaver dams and lodges to check it too! I tried to connect with Atsion Lake, but the beaver dam and brush blocks you form doing that, FYI.

Great place to relax. Nature, lake, everything is beautiful. There are a lot of roads/trails to walk.

This was a great campground. Very affordable and perfect for a group including children!

Rustic as it gets. A cleared out space in the dirt way deep in the woods on a nice body of water. There is no glamping and no hookups. The road in is barely a vehicle width. Unless you have AWD or 4WD, don't even think about coming back here. Open year round if you don't mind everything frozen over. Some people are into that.

Awesome campground very secluded. Site #16 is huge and can drive up to car camp. Lots of trails to walk day or night and the sounds of the coyotes are soothing.
(Some camp sites that are available Are only pull into a pull into a parking spot up to offense and then you would have to walk back all of your gear to set up..

Nice camping spot, $10 for the night. Only a 2 minute walk down the trail to see the pond (some sites were closer, right on the pond) The site has a firepit with griddle & a water pump nearby. Only stayed for 1 night so I didnt see much of the area besides our site.

Great trails back there, took my truck to hit some mud holes and had nothing but a good time, definitely reccomend for anyone.

Should have given ut 4 stars only because of the very rough road coming in but other than that it has great hiking trails ,not well marked, but easy to find ur way around with Google maps. Also has trails for 4 wheel vehicles, atv, etc nice lake to sit by .. camping is primitive

Beautiful camping area nestled in the woods. You need to drive on a dirt road to get in but it’s not too bad - you should be able to get in with any vehicle. Plenty of parking for the group camp sites.

Beautiful site. You can kayak in the pond (which is really more of a river swamp). Kinda shallow for swimming. Doesnt go mich deeper than waist high plus lots of bottom muck and plants. No alcohol allowes. Be aware you need to book in advance. You can do online. Lots of sandy backroads... If your tires have low traction you can get stuck. You cant camp off the reserved drsignated area even though signs dont say anything against it.

Canping area is primitive with fire pit and thats it. Beautiful pine trees and lots of dead wood to gather for trees. There are hole pit bathrooms and a running water spigot. Bring yr own tp. Pack in pack out all trash... No dumpsters.

Nice camping away from humans! Zombies are coming at night. To stay safe make sure you buy some fresh kidneys from Walmart.

Loved camping here because of all the different types of nature to see. Good hiking, lake swimming and peaceful
