Best PO - we’ve lived in many different places- this is the very best. Our wonderful postmaster personally tracked down an Amazon package that was delivered to the wrong address and delivered it herself! The staff is always friendly and helpful with VERY little turnover- we’ve experienced 24 years of great service.

I have lived in many places in the United States, and now I live in Oak Ridge, North Carolina. The Oak Ridge post office hardly ever has a line, the people that work there are so friendly and cool. They assist you with any questions that you may have, and they are friendly and efficient. They don’t slow everything down just to be friendly. They can do both at the same time. One added perk for me is that there is an after hours depository inside the building that is open 24 hours. So even after they have closed and pulled down the actual gate to the counters, you can still put your pre-addressed and posted small packages inside the large bin that they have inside. My husband and I truly never stop talking about how much we love this post office, and how much we love Oak Ridge.

One of the best local USPS offices I could recommend. Staffs are always nice and friendly to their customers. I had really bad experience in some other USPS office in Colfax before. Compared with that one, Oak Ridge USPS Office deserves a five star review.

Quiet and Relaxing Post Office. Best kept secret in Oak Ridge by far. Clerks are a joy to work with. Very knowledgeable and efficient. No problems at all.

Great to have this Post Office in our town. I always have a great experience with the two gentlemen that work here who are always friendly and helpful.

Great service

I’ve never seen the mail run at so many different times. I’ve had outgoing mail and they never put the flag down. Also I have tracked my disability payment and it’s been sitting in the office since Wednesday. This is unacceptable and the fact that I depend on that payment to live, they just take it upon Themselves to deliver when and what they want to. I’m extremely upset with them and there ability to do there job.

I work in oak ridge doing lawn care. I always come across one mail lady now that has a blue Jeep. I’ve been seeing her for years. I’ve seen her throw packages, speeding crazy in housing developments. I’ve seen her run into bushes by mailbox because she don’t believe in getting out of her jeep to put mail in it. She has yelled and swear at me multiple times because I was parked near a mail box and she end up giving me lame excuse why she can’t get out of her jeep and put it in there I see every where else mail people do that. But not her. She said not allowed. There’s times I have to park on the road while spraying lawn I have 400 feet out and I’m near a mailbox and it the only way I need to park so I can get hose back there and she goes nuts because I’m trying to do my job. I have called and complained about her. But they won’t do anything to her. The other mail people are not bad to deal with in oak ridge but she is horrible

An hour for lunch during business hours at the same time everyone else that works takes lunch is absurd! On top of that they close before the average person gets out of work at 4:30. Who in the world thought these were appropriate business hours?

This is how I got my mail and an Amazon order today....soaked, ruined and unreadable! I know this MUST have been a new or substitute carrier!

Cannot understand for the life of me why they keep such small hours there are a minimum of two people working at any given time and they can't manage to stay open over lunch by having some sort of a split shift for lunch! Ridiculous this is our government at work! No wonder people want to privatize!!!
