Once Upon A Child- Buford

Listen this store is AMAZING they were able to assist us with a very special project that we literally had no idea how we were going to manage! I am very greatful that we were able to successfully help a family in need by obtaining many of Once upon A time (Buford) baby furniture amongst other things! Thanks to the managers and staff who were SUCH A BIG HELP in carrying out such a wonderful project! This family is now ready to have their newborn and feeling quite happy and that is on the strength of Once Upon a time! We thank you with all our hearts!!!!!! The staff is so friendly, they are very honest and nice when selling items. They have a VERY good selection to buy from as well. Overall, I rate them very highly and continue to buy and sell here often!

Very clean very organized and Ms. Pam was wonderful! She Told me about the new mom club and how to save the most money. I will be back here.

Recently I have been cleaning out my children’s outgrown clothes and toys, and I have made several stops here at the Buford store. Every staff member I have worked with has been wonderful, very kind, smiling, helpful. They seem to be well staffed and quick to help even though they are very busy. That has not been my experience at another large children’s thrift chain that I was working with prior to finding this gem of a store.
Once Upon a Child pays well for clothes and toys that are in good, stain free, wrinkle free condition. I package my freshly laundered items flat in a bin to help them go through it, and it seems to speed their process along, especially when they’re having many donations at once. They certainly stay busy and I can see why. I have found them to be more than fair, and they will continue to receive all of my business, even though there are other consignment/thrift stores closer to my home. I have honestly been so happy with them, especially in comparison to my experience with another chain, I decided to write a great review, which they deserve. This is the place to buy and sell your children’s outgrown shoes, toys, clothes and baby items for sure.

This is by far the best once upon a child that I’ve been to!! Exceptional service!! The Toy area was immaculate!! Everything was easy to locate on top of the associates, helping me every step of the way! They bought mainly everything I brought into sell and I even traded some items!!! Pam was the best I made a mistake, and she had no trouble stopping what she was doing and taking care of everything so fast!! I will definitely be back!!!

I’ve recently been shopping here a lot more lately but specifically on Saturday and Sunday the crew for the last 2-3 weeks have been phenomenal and really helpful. There is a guy with twisted hair who helped me last week, who is very kind. Also on faintly during the week and on, Sundays I believe her name is Amanda. She is also very helpful. Good job to the coaching staff for building a good core I recommend for any parents this is the children’s store to go to.

I went to Once Upon A Child in Buford, GA yesterday with both of my Daughters and all 3 of my Grandboys. As soon as we walked in, Natalie greeted us. My oldest Grandson is Autistic and he was running around, having me help him grab a toy and he was taking it to his Momma. Instead of anyone saying anything to us to keep him quiet and keeping him with us, Pam was SO friendly and so was Ashley. We had SO many questions, and both Ashley and Pam answered every one. It was just an amazing experience thanks to these 3 ladies! We will all definitely be back everytime we need something for one of the boys and I will be telling my siblings about this store! Thank you, Pam, Ashley, and Natalie for making our experience just perfect!!

This is the most organized consignment shop I’ve ever been to i brought my 2 children with me (3yrs and 7 months) and was able to find everything I needed for them with no issues of having to rummage through random things piled everywhere while trying to wrangle two kids
I’m extremely impressed by the appearance of the store and all in all environment feel
the only real downside (for me anyway) is I noticed their Halloween costumes for older toddlers/kids are on the pricier side but that’s not a *huge* deal

I love this store! The staff is great, the prices are awesome and the quality control is wonderful as well!

Love this place!! Awesome place to buy all the items my grandchildren need. The employees are so helpful every time I go there.

I went today in to sell some of my sons gently used clothes and i was surprised by the costumer service. It was a delightful expirience that I was not expecting due to some reviews I’ve read about this store. Also I got a fair amount of money for the clothes they took. While they were sorting through the clothes I walked around the store and I couldn’t help to notice how organized and clean it was. I honestly don’t believe the past reviews people have left here.... my husband said that it was probably snobby people thinking they’d get a ton of cash for their worned our clothes just because they were brand name. Even he said the customer service was good. Keep up the good work!

I sell my children’s clothes here once they grow out of them. They give a pretty decent amount for in season clothes. They have great customer service as well!

My first time at this location and as soon as I came in the door I was greeted with two warm smiles ! And very helpful the workers were in my purchases. Even the young lady who checked me out at the register very nice!
As I left all thanked me for my patronage! Awesome I left with a smile and smiled all the way through the store!! I’ll be back!

The employees at this store are always super friendly and helpful..also very informative about deals, etc. It is by far the best kids resell store because you het more for your money and can sell what your kids have grown out of to get items in their next size up. And I've never seen an item that wasn't top notch quality...everything looks new and is so much more affordable. I walked through grabbing what I thought was way much more than I could afford and ended up only spending $20 for a new wardrobe. It's hard to not buy everything because there's so many great deals. Competititors don't even come close to how great this store is.

I hate shopping for kids clothes, seems that they go thru them so fast that they hardly get worn before they don't fit anymore! But now that I've found this store, I don't dread it so much anymore...I bring in clothes the kids have outgrown, and the ladies give me a trade in value, and I pick out the next 6 months clothes the kids need. simple, fast, and efficient. The staff is friendly---even when they were explaining that some old clothes they just couldn't take because of wear, marks and spots. Overall, even though I hate shopping for clothes, this way makes the most sense to me. I'll be a customer till the kids outgrow the store!

Prices are fair. Check-out was surprisingly fast even with a line on a Saturday. Historically, they have done a fantastic job selecting the items make it to their store racks. Ages 8 and under are excellent.

Great Kids consignment store. They have amazing clearance sales around the holidays. I've consigned several times and was pleasantly surprised on how much $ I made. Just like any consignment store, its hit or miss, but definitely put this store in your shopping rotation.
