I can’t thank Russell’s enough!! I came in one hour, before they closed with a prom dress crisis. The employee (I forgot her name but will not forget her face) saved the day. Within minutes we had over ten dresses to try on. Walked out with a new dress and matching jewelry. I have never went into a clothing store and had so much useful help!! I definitely recommend this place for prom dresses, wedding dresses, or any formal wear! ❤ I will be a future shopper!!!

A bit too expensive

They have a lovely selection of dresses, both bridal and formal. However, if you wear a size 12 or larger, you may want to go to another store. I wear a size 16 and decided to check here before I visited another shop, and I was pretty embarrassed that there seemed to be a shortage of bridal gowns in my size. I tried on what looked like a plain white bride costume (which was made of some stretchy material and clung) and another very old-fashioned dress before I went elsewhere. Bottom line- if you are a size 10 and under, I would definitely stop in and look around, because the dresses are pretty. . . but i wouldn't bother if you are any larger.

I sponsored a disabled person's wedding dress hunt. She found one she liked at Russell's. We decided to do layaway. After making 4 months payments of a hundred bucks each, she has outgrown the dress and has relocated. I am told that I cannot have a refund because the dress is now old. However, we can switch to a different dress, which proves the previous reason not to do a refund a crock. She no longer needs the dress. It takes a con artist not to refund a layaway, ie dress never even taken out of the store. There needs to be an option of ZERO stars.
