Rock House Deli

Stopped in while going through town during VolState and this place was great from the food to the staff.
Walking in the place was very clean and the staffed welcomed me like I was one of the locals. The ladies were quick to ask what I wanted to drink and gave me ideas of what the most popular choices were when ordering food.
I ordered the Strolling Jim and potato salad. The sandwich was made perfect and the potato salad was great to have with it. If you sit outside you will have a chance to see the trains coming through town or just watch the cars passing by.
I highly recommend stopping at the Rock House Depot Deli if you are wanting good food and a down home atmosphere before heading out of town.

Really great homemade food! Creative sandwiches and specials (they have gluten free/vegan bread, too!), the best soups and chili, scratch-made sides and desserts, plus the friendliest group of people you will ever meet! The feel when you walk in is very comforting "grandma's house" with blast from the past items in the decor. You really feel like you're at your mom's or grandma's house with the way Brenda is always checking on everyone and making sure you're stuffed! They are always changing out the retro decor items with the seasons and holidays. They need to be featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives!

Upon seeing the updated menu, we decided to give this sandwich shop a second try. We were pleasantly surprised. We got sandwiches with very tasty and generous filling. They were also perfectly toasted. Congratulations on the improvements. We will be back!

I had the philly cheese steak sandwich. It is the best philly I have had in awhile. I called a little later than I should have and asked if they could have it ready by noon. The nice lady said no problem and it was ready when I got there. Very nice service will eat there again. Thanks a lot Ladies

Went there for lunch with my 2 cousins and the food was great. The service was great too. The prices were not bad either!!!! We will definitely go back again soon!!!
