What an absolutely pleasant surprise to find such good food in an unsuspecting location. I never thought of myself as a Chinese food snob but that's what I have turned into. Most Chinese food that I encounter in this area is average. The buffet food at the China Inn today was hot, fresh and flavorful. Whoever is cooking there knows what they are doing. The Moo Goo Gai Pan was amazing and the chicken wings were spot on. Everything I tried had very good flavor including the fried rice. That is a big compliment in and of itself. In my opinion, it is rare to find fried rice with good flavor.

My overwhelmingly positive experience was also surprising due to the fact that this was mid afternoon when it wasn't a peak time for customers to be coming in.

I will definitely go again even though it is not in my immediate area and I highly recommend the China Inn to those who want to try decent Chinese food at a very reasonable price. It is worth the drive!

My wife loves this place and I do too! Great food, super friendly staff and affordable as well. I can’t really speak to the atmosphere because we only get take out, but they’ve never let us down.

Great for a small buffet with good prices for it. They are bringing out fresh food constantly because they make small batches so it doesn't sit and get old like some places. A must try if you're looking for quality for the price.

Went during peak hours, all the food was hot, and the absolute worst it got was still a passing grade, but most of the offerings were excellent. Special Shout-out to the Potato Wedges

What a hidden gem in Clinton! This place gets packed until about 12:30pm. It’s steady after that. But, no matter the crowd size, the staff keeps the buffet fresh and full. It’s not the biggest buffet but what they serve is delicious and hits the spot. The staff is friendly and works hard. I’ve been to a ton of Chinese buffets but this is one of my favorites. The locals know this is the best lunch spot around.

I don't eat here to enjoy the atmosphere. I eat here at least once a week because the place is clean; ample variety of tasty "Chinese" staples, sauted green beans, home fried potatoes, all prepared in SMALL batches (assured hot and fresh); and pleasant service. Above all, the fee is always VERY reasonable.

Small but well stocked buffet. Friendly and attentive service. Good food. The place could use some tlc but otherwise no complaints. I do wish they had ice cream like most of their competitors seem to offer.

Used to go here from work for lunch, but no longer work in the area. Have tried many Chinese restaurants around Knoxville, China Inn is the best with fresh food. I love the crab salad. Well worth the drive from Knoxville. Definitely 5 stars.

the price is 8 or 9 dollars depending on what you drink- the chx wings are very good. this is well worth the price

The food is the reason we go. Definitely not the ambiance but don't let that deter you. Give it a go. It isn't expensive and you can either order off menu or do the buffet. I love the chicken fried rice and beef and broccoli.

One of my absolute favorite places to eat The staff is amazing you can go in and get it to go box for around $11 and fill it to the absolute brim and eat on it for 2 days

Very small but always very friendly people and always fresh on the buffet table. Crab Rangoon is the best here. We eat here a lot. They're awesome 👍👍😎😎

We were seated immediately even though the restaurant was quite busy. As is usual, the food was great. The service is ok. This buffet is always steamy hot and well stocked with mostly chicken dishes but also there is a shrimp and beef dish.

Their food is always fresh and delicious! We love this place! We've been their customer for several years now, and they continue to bring us joy with their kindness and quick service!

Haven't eaten inside yet..however, we order take out on Sundays. They make it fresh when you order. The food is delicious and the employees are friendly and they recognize us when we go in. Absolutely awesome!!

Very good food..... definitely get your money's worth from the buffet.
