Lived up the road for many years and never tried it, gave it a shot today, pretty mad we haven’t come here sooner. Hot dogs were awesome, the buns were notably delicious, the tot sampler was fire. Will definitely be back.

Very cute restaurant. I paid just under $6 for a beef hotdog (including the 15 cents card transaction fee) + toppings (25 cents). The staff member was nice but it seems he’s running the restaurant alone, so the lack of additional staff (this was during lunchtime at 12:45pm) at a peak hour means you may wait a few minutes.

Also, this place shares a space with the ice cream shop. The Doghouse employee works both sides. Parking is a little tight in the back but there is shared street parking near the other businesses.

Seating is arranged for 1-2 people per party; there aren’t areas for a larger group except for 4 stools directly at the bar area that separates the Doghouse from the Ice cream place.

My experience felt more 4 stars but I suspect it was impacted by the sick customer who was inside sneezing and coughing nearby (gross — stay home). I rounded my experience to 5 stars since i couldn’t even think of anything objectively negative about the restaurant except that I wish there was more than 1 staff member.

It's a very cozy and hip place to get some of your hotdog cravings taken care of. You can build your own hotdog or choose one out of the house menu. And don't forget to get your tots on. My favorite was the totchos but they have different kind of tots you can choose from. Fairly priced, great food and great location. Parking can be a bummer but that's the whole strip. You find a spot and go around walking. Give this place a try and you will never regret it. #LocalGuides

My favorite new hot dog place. Chicago dog was great. Nice flavor with the hotdogs. Will be going back again.

Went today with my 2 year old son. We both enjoyed the food. I had the Chicago dog and he had a hotdog with tots. Will return.

I got the Chicago dog and pizza tots both were delicious! It’s a small shop so not much seating but luckily when I went it wasn’t crowded I’m surprised for a weekend! Service was good and the food came out quickly! Parking is hard to find tho had to parallel park and walk across the street

Lots of wonderful toppings to create a great hotdog experience. Same with their delicious tater tots. And their ice cream soda fountain has flavors and toppings sure to satisfy everyone.

It's a well decorated restaurant with a variety of hotdogs and reasonable prices. Customer service is excellent. They also have an ice cream bar on the other side. Don't forget to tip the people who take your orders and make them 😉

From the friendly gentleman who made my food, to the laidback atmosphere and the appealing plating… this place was great. Best dog I have had in town and I am a Fenway frank kinda guy. Loaded tots were next level - they were well-done and perfectly crisp but not over-fried. Cheese, bacon, and all other toppings seemed fresh and tasted like it. Stopped here because I had an eye appointment and my eyes were dilated and I didn’t feel safe driving yet. Suffice to say, I will be satisfied on the way home.

Great little corner hot dog joint - and it helps that there's also an ice cream counter in the same building! :D I'm partial to the "frank-n-tots" baskets.

Great little hot dog joint. The hot dogs are practically sausage sized, topped to the brim with all sorts or deliciousness. The staff was legitimately interested in what we thought of the food, and invested in what he was making. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

It's a great hotdog restaurant. I think everything cool there is The Soda Fountain, but Doghouse compliments it well.

Nice and easy, food was good and hot. Ordered the Buffalo dog with mac and cheese tots and left stuffed. Wife had a chicago dog with urban tots, surpassed our expectations. Will have to come back sometime for ice cream at the connected shop.

Absolutely loved the hot dogs here! So good, and they had gluten free buns! I was so happy to be able to eat a full hot dog with a bun! Will be returning soon!

Great little place I had the king dog, and my friend had a cotton king ice cream. Delicious!

the location is not the best. i parked in a nearby garage and had to walk a little bit to get here. it’s not a dangerous walk however. no one will bother you like they would downtown.
the service was very helpful and friendly. there was 2 people, the girl that helped me and a guy who was talking with a regular the whole time. she greeted and complimented me. the place was empty too. the regular was the only other person there so service was quick. you could watch them make your order.
the portion size on the food was insane. i ate this for lunch AND dinner. the presentation was nice, not just all plopped into a box. the hot dog tasted great, juicy dog and soft bun and tots tasted as they should. tater tots are tater tots.
definitely stop by for lunch. this will fill you up.
