Mavis Discount Tire

Our tires needed replacement and a large nail expedited our need. We called Mavis in Somers Point and they had various tire options for our Suburban. They were able to get us in that day and they had a team working on my car and they were hustling to get it done. Under 2 hours with no appointment is fast! I appreciate the excellent, fast and friendly service. Thank you!

Edit: Anyone who has used such machine correctly previously would know that once its tight it doesn’t move for the rest of the alignment. We actually have to level it first to make sure the alignment is accurate. It’s no possible way the sensor can ride the wheel without falling off the wheel. Also the wheel has chunks missing. The alignment might be off now because of the impact when the customer hit a curb.

It’s unfortunate that I have to do a review to speak on on two reviews that a customer made on two different accounts. The First image is the curb rash or the “destruction” the customer claims we did to his wheel. Second image is an alignment we are currently in the process of with the machine he claims destroyed his wheel. In all the years I’ve worked in this shop I’ve never seen our machine do such damage. Customer also claims he is a “technician” at a shop with a better alignment machine which doesn’t make sense on why he didn’t get the work for free at his shop. Obviously a failed attempt to get the shop to repair his curb rash damage for free. Nice try. We still welcome you any day to come come by and get your vehicle serviced though.

My mother lives in Mays Landing and I live in Sicklerville and trying to take care of her car 40 miles away is tough....very tough. I was recommended to Mavis in Somers Point and I'm glad I sent my mother there. Jon was absolutely great, explaining patiently to my mother what was need and gave her an excellent price...Jon also called me to explain the work that needed to be done. Jose who also works there went the extra mile to make my mother feel safe and welcomed. Nowadays its hard to find a home town service facility you can trust, but Jon along with Jose are honest, fair and thorough and made me feel the same 40 miles away. Thanks from both me and my Mother, she felt safe and very happy!!!!

I’ve been going to Mavis for over 4 years for oil changes, car repairs, etc. When I found out I was moving and there was one near me it was the smoothest transition. My information was already in the Somers Point database for my first visit. When making appointments they always try to get me in at my earliest convenience. They present to me all my options and are transparent with price points!

Went in today and Morgan was fantastic. She was so helpful and kind. I will be sending all my trucks here for services.

I originally went to Mavis when I had an emergency car situation not to far from the Somers point location, I was so impressed with their compassion and their honesty that the next time that I had a situation with my car and needing a new tire I immediately thought of them. John was so amazing with handling my situation not only showing me the tires but informing me of all of my options including a sale that they had going on at that time. The honesty and integrity of the workplace won me over the first time, it's what will keep me coming back Time after Time again thank you for a job well done and excellent customer service!!!!

Great repair shop. I had repairs done elsewhere and they were not done correctly. I stopped in this mavis and they were excellent. John and Markus were excellent. They showed me the corrections they made and what other repairs needed to be done in the future. Very knowledgeable. Thank you again for fixing my vehicle.

After another, smaller business attempted to repair my tire, I had to tow it to Mavis for a more permanent fix. Morgan & Simon were polite, friendly, and reassuring staff. They kept their word regarding timing and pricing and discussed the issue with my tire openly and honestly. I will go back to Mavis in the future for any tire repair I may need.

John and Jose are the best! I didn't come in planning to get my brakes serviced, but they were so helpful that I decided to stay and get it done. The wait was short and I am very satisfied! I will be coming to this location from now on!!!

My 21 yr old Mercedes, with 89,000 miles, last had new tires in 2010. While I had good tread on all four tires, the rubber was failing and it was time for replacement. Morgan suggested the tires and Jose and John supported that while Donny replaced, balanced and installed my new ones. An alignment completed the process and there was no charge for recycling the old ones. It was all completed while I waited and I drove away happy with my purchase and the personalized service. I highly recommend Mavis Tires in Somers Point, even if your car is younger.😉

I have been meaning to write this review for sometime now. The first Snow we had my daughter hit a very large pothole. We were not far from Mavis, but they were just about to close. Thought we blew out a tire, but we did not. we actually bent the rim. Jose, the manager did everything he could with Marcus, the tech and Morgan the assistant manager helped as well. They actually were able to fix the rim and it’s been well over a month now and there are no issues. I have to admit that I had a bad experience at this location several months ago and vowed never to return. With that said, they went above and beyond To help us and I would recommend 5+ stars. Thank you guys for your help. 2022 Kia Saltos is what I have and just FYI the rims are extremely expensive. Again thank you for all your help on a really bad day right before you closed.

The guys here were great. They got me in same day, did a great job and the price was good. Marcus one of the techs is very knowledgeable and worked in a timely manner, had my car in and out .

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mavis for some repairs on my car, and I must say that I was extremely impressed with their service. I had a slow leak in a tire for months that turned into a fast leak.
Went over to Mavis, who I've been going to for years.
John, Morgan and the tech got me in and out quickly and back on the road.
Last month, the day before a road trip, looked at my fan belt, noticed it was shredding.
Went to Mavis late Saturday afternoon, dont remember the manager, I believe his name was Jose, got me right in, took care of it and I had a worry free trip.

Really happy with these guys. Especially with Simon, Morgan, and John. They were super friendly and did a fantastic job. I was in and out. Highly recommend it.

took my vehicle in because i had a nail/screw? in my tire. Morgan, was so helpful and came out to tell me that the tech. pulled the nail and it did not penetrate the tire and that there will be not be a charge. WOW..... is all i can say! great place, very friendly! highly recommend.
