Delicious burger, maybe one of the best in Appleton! We started with fried pork ribs, that can easily be shared in 3-4 people. It was too much for two, but we ate everything (so you can imagine how good it was). For the burger, everything was amazing: the bread, the cheese, the patties and the onion! This onion is really THE star of this burger. to be honest, I was just waiting a bit more related to the bacon, once the onion took place. But, this definitely didn’t change my final GREAT impression…

We will DEFINITELY return there!

A must stop for the Fox Valley! The environment and service is top notch and the food was fantastic. We had the smoked ribs which were amazing and a special on Thursdays.

2 things we had, which were not on the menu but hopefully will be main stays, were the spinach and artichoke dip (unique with smoke flavor) and the New York sour for a drink.

From the moment we stepped into Mill City in Appleton, we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance of the restaurant set the stage for a memorable evening, blending a cozy atmosphere with a touch of elegance.

Our waiter, Alex, was the highlight of our experience. His impeccable service, coupled with his delightful sense of humor, made our dining experience truly outstanding. Alex was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and had excellent recommendations that catered perfectly to our tastes.

As for the food, it was nothing short of phenomenal. Each dish was a testament to the chef’s skill, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and left us savoring every bite. It’s not often that you find a place where every element of the meal is spot-on, but Mill City managed to do just that.

In summary, our visit to Mill City was an absolute pleasure. The combination of Alex’s exceptional service and the exquisite cuisine made our evening special. We’ll definitely be returning and recommending Mill City to friends and family. Hats off to the team for creating such a wonderful dining experience!

Food was very good! Great service! Gourmet entrees. Atmosphere was nice, Bob Ross vibe going on there! MC was recommended to us, I’d recommend you stop in for yourself too!

My first time here! A quaint eating place with a separate bar area to enjoy craft beers, signature drinks and watch the game.
The eating area was roomy and the wait staff were attentive. Food was delicious and seasoned perfectly! The first time I ate a meal, and it needed no salt or pepper! I had the Salmon BLT and Baby Green Salad. My daughter had the Prime Rib Philly Steak Sandwich and Beer Cheese Soup. Wonderful and friendly servers...I will definitely go back!!!

The service was wonderful. Our server is super knowledgeable about the menu (both food and drinks). Food was pretty good, the salad could of have a little less dressing but that’s just my preference

I’m not kidding, this is the best place for burgers in the Appleton/Green Bay Area. We have tried so many places in both areas and, hands down, Mill City Pub is #1. Amazing and tentative service, especially at the bar. Cozy, low key but classy atmosphere with exceptional daily/nightly menu features. Our new favorite place in the area. We’ve been here multiple times, I always get their soup of the day and “An Okay Burger”. But it’s not just an okay burger, it’s a fantastic burger. Melts in your mouth. Bartended made me a special drink off the menu based on what I like. It was awesome.

My salad was a bit heavier on the beets than I expected. But the smoked goat cheese was seriously out of this world insanely delicious, one of the more unique foods I’ve had in awhile.

Good burgers- menu is limited but what they do have, they do very well. Quality ingredients that are well put together.
Service was fast and friendly, prices are fair for the quality of food. My husband had the mushroom Swiss smash burger and I the the “An OK” smash burger. Good quality beef, fries were hot and cooked perfectly. Will try their cocktails next time. We didn’t feel like drinking at lunch since we had errands to run afterward.
We will definitely eat here again!!

Delicious food, beautiful & clean atmosphere and great service. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Expect an upscale pub vibe with comfy seating. Brussel sprouts are a must on the app menu.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Mill City! There was no wait for a table on a Friday night, and the atmosphere was great. We got beer, margaritas, brussels sprouts and burgers. Food was yummy, but the margarita was average. Overall, we’d recommend it and will be back!

A cool, but quiet place with so much eye candy! Milk City Public House is the place to go if you are craving a really good craft burger, sandwich, and some BBQ. Unique menu with a lot of interesting options sure please the palette. The salads are next level! The service was wonderful and attentive as well!

Absolutely love this place! Went thru Friday around 7, had an hour wait which was expected. Took about 10 minutes for a spot at the bar to open so we were able to hang out while waiting for our table. We love their drink selection as it’s very unique and everything is so tasty! We both had the Friday special which was fried Walleye and French fries. Some of the best fish I’ve had in a long time! If you haven’t checked them out, do it soon!

Phenomenal food and always a great experience. They are our go to for ourselves and guests from out of town.

The cocktails are so well done and I absolutely love their Korean Fried Chicken patty on their arugula salad. They used to make a drink called Offshore Pirate that was my favorite and I’m hoping they bring it back.

Make sure to check out their appetizers! We love the Brussel sprouts and street corn tots, but I think they are all so good.

I’d love to see more food and beer pairings hosted and other events that we could attend. We look forward to visiting again.

When I stopped in, they were pretty much full, and I had to sit and eat at the bar while I was there. It seem that quite a few tables were clearing out, but they were definitely busy. It was quite difficult to find parking. The overall outside impression of the building is very misleading to the high-end, and in my opinion, luxurious interior it was a really nice environment to be dining in. I had cheese curds as an appetizer. They were absolutely phenomenal. Actually, the best cheese curds I’ve ever had I would go there just for those my entrée was the Wagyu mushroom and swiss burger absolutely phenomenal again. I would highly recommend the Wego burgers there and for dessert I had chocolate and powdered sugar beignets. For drinks, I started out with a whiskey, old-fashioned before the appetizer. It was kind of bland I would probably not get one there again I feel for the price they could step up their game on something as common as a whiskey, old fashion at the price point they’re charging the second mink string I had was quite nice, and about what I expected for what I paid. And I finish the whiskey old fashion pretty quick and he didn’t even ask if I wanted a second drink for quite a while. I’m not sure why he wasn’t overly busy at the time and I was definitely ready to get a second one of some kind right away, overall I will definitely be going back the food and atmosphere are amazing and make up for any shortcomings even though the place is pricey, I feel outside of the drinks you’re definitely getting what you’re paying for and look forward to going there again if you’ve never been there, I would definitely recommend stopping in

Mill City is a super cool place for that gastro pub type of vibe and fare. We definitely enjoyed the street corn tater tots for our appetizer. My double smashed burger was great, too. I selected tots as my side. Yeah, doubled up on tots, my dude... The special was a tasty brisket sandwich undoubtedly prepared in their smoker out back. Of course, there's a great craft beer and drink selection available. The service and atmosphere are also top-notch. Can't wait to go back. Any place with a jackalope for a mascot is all right in my book. As a matter of fact, it's downright jacktastic. That's right, I said it...

Best restaurant in Appleton. Mussels and tots is the best menu item. All the appetizers are excellent. Try the bacon jam burger. The craft cocktails are good but a little sweet for my taste. Service is always great. Would recommend to anyone!

One of the best restaurants in Appleton easily across the board. Great food and drinks that you can tell are well thought out and created with intention. Great atmosphere. While it's pretty meat heavy they have several options that are vegetarian friendly and their menu has green to include more. Highly recommend checking it out if you'd haven't
