Hot Dog Avenue

This was a really good option for someone looking for a decent price and filling meal. Will go back but have one suggestion. If eating in, would recommend the hotdogs be placed in a boat, not wrapped in wax paper. The Chilli dog lost all the cheese onto the paper but we made it work. Would definitely recommend this place though over some of the places we've gone this week.

The Italian sausage beef combo was really good. Gyro was on point. Hot dogs were fantastic! Very friendly environment, clean and very good! Would definitely recommend!

Excellent! Easy to get to (across from Noah's Ark) decent amount of parking & seating. Plus they have a drive thru! I got a Philly Cheesesteak & my hubby got Italian Beef (with ALL the add-ons). We also got cheese curds.. because, cheese. Very filling. Amazing quality & value. My husband was quite smitten with the au jus from his sammich that he was dipping fries in it & even took a sip (or 2) I love the atmosphere & cute Valentines decor. I got a kick out of the trash cans that looked like hydrants.

1st visit. It was all very fresh, & reasonably priced! The cheese burger was good, but not that big! The bun was a little old, & started to crumble. This place is definitely a place I'd visit a bunch, if I was a local! Everyone's food looked great! I also got a Montana dog ( bacon, grilled onion, brown mustard) & fries! Tasted great! Try this place out!

Loved the decor, and fun shirts ! Their gyro burrito was amazing , my fav bite to eat on our trip so far! My fiancé got their Hot Dog and was probably the best Hot Dog I’ve ever had! Highly recommended place to eat !!!

Hot Dog Ave was a hidden gem we recently discovered while on vacation in the Dells. Ordered some Chicago style hotdogs and you would’ve thought my kids were eating a hotdog like they’ve never eaten before. We had to place a second order. The fries were delicious too and the price was reasonable for a quick bite. Will definitely be back the next time we are in the Dells.

My brother and I decided to stop in here because it looked tasty and had a good rating and it didn't disappoint. Nice clean restaurant with a friendly staff that offered a large-variety of hot dogs, sausages and hamburgers. I ordered the Italian Combo with an Italian sausage covered in Italian beef and dipped. Needless to say, it was excellent and the fries were also very good.

Each time I go there the owners are always so nice. Both of them always take time to say hello and thank you for your patronage. I wanted to mention...for those doing KETO. You can get that gyro salad with extra meat and enjoy it while still being true to your regimen. I highly suggest you try it. Great workers always and everytime over there by the way. If you ever have an issue they will be happy to fix it for you. That gyro burrito....fuggetaboutit. It's the best single item in the dells to eat. It's like a pound of food!

I’m mainly here for my daughter…we came down for her birthday and decided to try this joint for lunch because we are big fans of Portillo’s and needless to say Hot Dog Avenue didn’t disappoint! I got the Italian Beef and it was delicious, my 8 yo devoured the cheeseburger meal, my wife and daughter really enjoyed the hot dogs in fact the reason I’m making this review at 10:15 pm is because she said dad you have to give them 5 stars it was amazing!!!!

This is my favorite place to eat when I'm in Wisconsin Dells!!! All hotdogs are made with real Vienna Beef Hotdogs so no need to worry if you don't eat pork. I recommend the Chicago Dog. Hot Dog Avenue does it right. It comes with mustard, relish, onions, tomatoes, pickle, sport peppers, and celery salt on a poppy seed bun. Some places cheat you on the poppy bun and celery salt. I also recommend my favorite dog, the Louisana Dog, which comes with bbq sauce, grilled onions, and tomatoes. I also have the Georgia Dog pictured, which comes with bbq sauce and coleslaw.

This is easily the best place in the Dells for a hot dog and burger. Probably in the top 5 if not the best in all of Wisconsin. The buns are soft and delicious and just the right size to hold the dog. Speaking of the dog, the dogs alone are the most delicious ever and I could eat them plain without a nun and still enjoy every bite. Besides, the Chicago Dog which was made to perfection, I also got the Avenue Cheeseburger and omg it's one of the best burgers I have ever had anywhere. From the bun and meat to the Avenue sauce that compliments the whole burger it's just a delicious burger all the way around.

The staff is super friendly and everything is cooked to order quick.

If you're looking for a burger and dog while visiting the Dells don't pass this place up!

Came to a hot dog joint and got anything but a hot dog! The hamburger was teenager approved “delicious” and the delightful lady who served us, Princess, was right the gyro is fantastic.
Great price for what you get.

My husband and I ate here last night and were so pleasantly surprised to find such good and authentic Chicago food. I had the gyro and hubby had the Italian sausage. All we can say is "WOW!" And the decor is really cool, as well as the staff. Great job Ralph, etal! Wish there were more stars for rating them. Be sure to give them a try... you'll be happy you did!

My son and I were visiting the dells and I had not had something like a Chicago hot dog and being from Chicago and I had not had one in a long time, we decided to check this place out.

I had the Maxwell Street Polish and my son had the Chicago dog and we both were just blown away about how it was just like eating at a hot dog place in Chicago it was the best! Highly recommend 😉

The guy who took order was super nice and had great hospitality. He recommended some great food for us. The atmosphere was quaint, I loved the 50’s music. Don’t let the food portions full you. It’s dense and filling the food is SUPER good. I wish I could come here again. Just in town visiting.

Great dogs. I had the new york dog with brown mustard and kraut. My husband had the Chicago dog and the new Mexico dog. Definitely recommend. We actually ate here twice while in the dells. Photos from take out. One of the best meals we had on our trip.

Great variety of hot dogs and hamburgers fries are not frozen they are fresh cut I had a Chicago Dog it was great local law enforcement was there having lunch I mean 7 officers so if the local police dine there it must be good and it was great and price is not bad for the quality of food and service was fast even though they were quite busy when I was there highly recommend

Wow! What a delightful experience. I love a place that cares about their food! Because we had a large crowd, we got to sample several items from the menu. Everyone was raving about their food. Hot Dog Avenue for the win!!

One creepy dude was staring at us at the bar but other than that, a pleasant experience. Good food too!

I'm back it's July 17 2023. I tried the New Mexico dog. Omg best dog I've ever had. I'm from Chicago, and this is truly better. How can I convince my family to come back today.
