Deluxe Diner

I love this place. Used to eat here when the previous owner was there, and under the new ownership the place has only gotten better. They now have more variety in their specials and their deserts, and homemade white and wheat bread options (which are insanely delicious by the way), -if you don't want to go with the normal options. While adding new items to the menu, they have also kept the same menu items that have been im place since it first opened up in the 30's & 40's (around that time anyway). The owners (sisters) are friendly and helpful and very very hands on.
10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants good home cooking and amazing coffee. Also a good place to stop for train and history enthusiasts, as the diner is a old railway dining car. There aren't too many left that are still functional as places to eat. They have kept the interior as close as possible to the original, while still adding bits and pieces or their own personal flair.

Tiny single counter diner. Super friendly owner and employees, even warned my husband not to order 2 blueberry pancakes because they were soooo big, they were right he couldn't finish one, they could have easily let us order more than we needed to but were to honest to do so even though it was obvious to all that we were tourists and would probably be one time customers. The regulars were friendly and welcoming as well. Strongly recommend, the food was cooked to order and delicious,but be warned probably no more than 15 seats.

What a find!! We were staying in town overnight and looked up breakfast "joints" on the internet. Couldn't pass this place up after reading the reviews. All the reviews are spot on!! Excellent breakfast (perfectly cooked) and loads of entertainment! Friendly locals didn't make us feel like outsiders. My husband fell in love with the co-owner, Julie!!! Will DEFINITELY return.

What a fantastic LITTLE diner! Definition of bang for your buck, great food, great staff, fantastic prices all around a very good experience. You can feel the history with in the building. Years servicing hungry patrons with great food and conversation....a must go for a good meal and friendly atmosphere.......

I absolutely love this place. My aunt used to work here. It's made from an old train car, refurbished into an amazing place to eat!

Perfect place for a lazy Sunday breakfast. If they have it they'll make it for you, and it's always a warm environment.

I always recommend the omletes, I swear they use 4 eggs or 3 jumbo eggs! Omletes are perfectly cooked, and the food inside is always cooked in with the eggs, and not just put inside once the eggs are already cooked.

Great portion sizes.

Food is cooked with butter (yummy!!!) so it may be a little greasy for some people, but it's a diner. Lol.

Enjoy great food in a setting that can't be found anymore, a true diner car experience. The owners are a hoot, and really do a great job both entertaining and serving up traditional diner fare. Try it out!

This was such a great place, me and my husband loved it. We went one early morning which was really cool we could order lunch or diner that early, was also offered coffee right as we walked in. Was like being in a actual diner in the late 20's. I would say it is really up close and personal tho. But the place was just really wonderful and such low and good prices.

Love this place great food! Nice old school diner... Small but brings you back to the old days where the diners were small... There prices are great can get a good size meal for 2 people for under 20$ if you wanna try a place in Rumford you have to go to the deluxe diner and give them a try!!! Great service and you get to watch them cook your food AMAZING PLACE 5+ STARS !!

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had! Even made us Pittsburghers with a cute accent feel like family! Walked in with 4 in our group and only 3 stools together, so everyone at the counter stood up, slid themselves and their food over 1 stool to make room for us! All the food is prepared perfectly and beware the large pancake, either bring a huge appetite or 2 people to eat it! If you're ever anywhere near Rumford, ME, make sure to stop at the Deluxe Diner, gets my highest recommendation!

Good ole 50's style dinner with great duo behind the counter ready to serve you. The girls are just a bonus to the ambiance or the place I love the place the food is excellent you wont be disapointed.
