I really really love this place, I wish I could come back for more. The dishes come in courses, and they serve soup, salad, breads, appetizer for free.

My favorite dishes are tasty minestrone and ravioli. However the portion is wayyyy out of control, I feel bad wasting my food, really.

Can't lie....Moved away three years ago. My favorite local restaurant. Reminded me of home in the Bronx, NY seventy years ago. Home cooking, real people servers. So looking forward to dinner Saturday! (4-13-2024)

Old school Italian restaurant. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was great. The polenta had just the right amount of cheese. The bread was hot and fresh. The salad was nicely dressed and the raw peppers added another level of flavor without being overbearing. Pretty sure the delicious soup was homemade. Pasta was cooked perfectly. I'll definitely be coming back.

Our family drives 1 hour to go to this restaurant ! Wonderful authentic Italian food! This is how dinner is traditionally served in Italy. Polenta, salad, soup, home cured olives, if you are lucky, and fantastic warm sour dough and THEN comes the entre!! Bring your appetite!

Amazing vibe. Like you're in Italy. People are celebrating, smiling. The staff is short friendly. There is lots of room, I don't think there should be any problems with finding a table ever.
The food was very good. The soup was great. I had a pasta carbonara, it was great too.

.only open Friday Saturday and Sunday it could be because they're in pine Grove very small community. They give you plenty of food and it's all very tasty, with each dinner you get a plate of polenta soup salad and your main course we couldn't eat it all came home with enough left over lasagna for another meal. Can't wait to go again.

The service was wonderful. Gianna was great! We loved the bread, polenta, salad, and soup. The main course was a little bland, and the sauce was a little too thin. Chicken parm needs a more robust sauce without chunks of onions. The eggplant parm was enjoyed by 2 out of 3. Same feeling about the runny sauce. We would return if we were in the area again.

Old world style, service and ambiance!! The food is always yummy and plentiful, with fresh warm sourdough bread and two bruscetta options that are fantastic. I also can't get enough of their lentil soup, when they make it (typically serve a very good minestrone, but occasionally swap it for a to-die-for lentil) We ate here weekly when we lived just up the road, and I miss it!!
The bar can get noisy, as it is a local hangout. Its contemporary music can wash out the Italian music in the dining room and pretty much sound awful if you are there late Friday night and sitting just outside the bar area. Lol.
But if you are looking for classic yummy food in an old world place that will remind you of days gone by WITH AMAZINGLY lovely wait staff and ownership, this is a must visit.

Love Italian food and have been blessed to eat at some of the best across the United States.
If you appreciate authentic Italian food and great authentic recipes, do not skip this restaurant.
I will not over sell this because it is easier to just say don’t skip this place in a area one would not expect such enjoyable meals.

The family and I decided to give Italian a try tonight, we personally have never been her before so this is a single encounter. When you first walk in it has an old Italian feel, unfortunately we were sat in the back where it looked sort of new and without much aesthetics but was still nice, just not as charming. The waitress was quite kind and offered us menus, by the way the pricing may shock you but hang in there! We ordered the "Chicken Picotta", "Lasagna" and "Pasta with Meatballs" and we figured it would be sort of like the spaghetti factory, but I think it was the room putting us in that mood. The waitress notified us she was bringing bread and Polenta. Essentially, grits with spaghetti sauce and cheese. I personally thought it was delicious, but we all ate a fair bit of it. But it also went very fast, then she grabbed our plates and says "Be right back with your salad" which we didn't order, and for the three of us the bowl was pretty decent and well portioned. Consisted of balsamic vinegar, oil, chickpeas, tomatoes..... you get the point, it was really nice after the Polenta. As we were finishing the salad the waitress again picked up our plates "Be right back with your lentil soup" which at this point felt lavish and was amazingly tasty! So we are three courses in and as we are finishing soup and drinking water our dishes come out. The lasagna obvious is home made but then frozen. The volume I suppose explains as such because it would be difficult to create enough without waste or taking an hour, not a negative, just noticeable. The chicken picotta was tasty, had a good.....lemony flavor? The misses mentioned she wished it was a little more golden brown but she rated the overall meal 4/5. The youngster was expecting spaghetti with a bolognaise sauce and was quite delighted it was ummm ditaloni? Rated his entire meal 5/5. My rating obvious by this post but also was 5/5. So with all this information, here are some other details that are important, all the staff was friendly, the adult beverages were worth the money spent on them, the place is more expensive than most, but for three people you can get a killer four course meal for under $100. The portions are ideal for both adult and child portions which lead all three of us being full to the max with zero left overs which is always my preferred. Looking for a new experience drop in. But remember this they are only open from Friday to Sunday.

Feels like home every time we go!! ❤ Not only incredible food but the service is exceptional. The family style meal service and personal attention from the owners truly reminds me of a Sunday meal with my Nonna. We love watching the owners greet each table and often sit to share conversation. It makes the experience about so much more than just great food.
