1000 Islands Harbor Hotel

It was an excellent experience. The staff was wonderful and accommodating! The lady that refilled the coffee on the third floor every morning was lovely to talk to. The entire stay exceeded my expectations. The decor and space was wonderful! Everyone I interacted with throughout the stay was great. Well done!

My husband and I could not recommend the 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel more for a wedding! We had ours there in July 2023, and everyone on staff was a dream to work with. Lynn, Shannon, and the rest of the team were extremely attentive and knowledgeable to all our needs and questions.

All of our guests were blown away by the beauty of the location and had rave reviews for the food! The rooms were also beautiful, and the front desk staff was extremely friendly to all of our out-of-town guests.

The Harbor Hotel allowed us to have a destination style wedding, but still in the Northeast where most of our family and friends are located. We absolutely loved our experience and can't wait to come back to celebrate our marriage in the future!

It's a beautiful location. So close to everything and overlooking Lake Ontario. Just lovely -- The Fire & Ice event was so much fun and for a great cause. -- The entire front desk staff & manager working the Fire & Ice event on Friday, February 2nd. -- The ladies at the front desk were amazing. It was a busy time and they still were able to work out an issue for me to make my stay so much less stressful. They were so friendly and understanding. -- I forgot my ID. The event we were there to attend required that I show it multiple times. The front desk staff, including the manager, helped to get my wrist band ahead of time. I was also given the manager's card with a statement on the back that indicated I was cleared to enter the event without showing an ID. -- The manager on duty went above and beyond for me to make sure I was able to enjoy my night.

Ice festival. All ages but catered to the young. No place to sit except inside. Food a plenty and a good cause. Hubby has a bad knee. Was looking forward to the coziness of chatting around the fire. Disappointed. Still gave it five stars because I just love this place. The view the atmosphere the friendly staff and ppl.

Very friendly and knowledgeable! -- A staff person even initiated conversation on the elevator. Such care and concern! -- I left items in the refrigerator that I wish I had remembered!!! -- I am in love with this bathroooooom!!!!! -- Although the room was very elegant and beautiful there was a significant amount of echo inside and outside of the room. I suspect it's because the floors are not carpeted.

What a beautiful place! Great spot with extremely friendly staff. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the gym was updated and easy to use. I highly recommend staying here and planning a get away here.

Great hotel, location and staff. -- Yes. We were there again this year for your new years Disco party. Last year there was a band who were excellent and really propelled the whole experience. This year I didn't realize there was only a DJ (this is on me) There were 12 of us again and all agreed that the entrainment or DJ was a real let down to this years experience. Quite honestly we were really disappointed in the DJ's selection of music as it wasn't really disco themed. It felt like we were at a wedding with a disco song here and there. We will have to pay attention to next years entertainment as it may be the difference in whether we attend for a 3rd year in a row. Too bad really because everything else was excellent. -- I'm not sure of the young mans name but he was at the prime rib carving station for the dinner and then was the omelette cook for breakfast. he was exceptional in both service venues. But I would like to point out that every staff member we encountered was kind, courteous and very helpful. Truly nice to see the level of hospitality at your hotel. -- Excellent staff! -- Water was cold then hot then back to cold, inconsistent temperatures for the first few minutes. Fine after that. -- Room was neat and clean. The turn down service was a nice touch! -- Again, all excellent! -- Walked into the the bar and was immediately greeted by the bartender.

Hot tub/spa was nice, just the right temp. -- Make it about 40° warmer outside. -- Well, that would be EVERYONE we came in contact with. Thank you. -- Perfect take-out breakfast. Excellent omelets! -- We always have a nice stay. Hotel and hotel grounds are beautiful, breakfast is always excellent. And we very much appreciate the coffee service. Thank you.

The atmosphere was great. We checked in around 8 pm on a September weekday. Complementary cider was offered when we arrived. We ordered drinks from the bar and sat around a fire on the patio. The room was updated and clean. The view from the patio was beautiful. The only minor issue with our stay was when asking multiple staff about any local activities, they had no input.

Beds were super comfortable - bedding was amazing. Loved the Starbucks coffee bar to welcome you every morning on each floor. Location is perfect. Huge outdoor area to enjoy the beautiful views… we had an amazing time with our family of 13 (from 2years old to 72) and I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

Upscale hotel in Clayton, NY -- we did not expect it to be so nice (though it is priced accordingly, even for the week after Labor Day). Rooms are clean and well-decorated, beds are comfortable ... some rooms have balconies overlooking the St Lawrence River. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but we heard positive comments about the food. Service in both the indoor and outdoor bars was friendly and efficient. The grounds and common areas were well-kept. Location was perfect for walking about Clayton.

Loved our visit and will be back next year! -- very pleasant and helpful -- wonderful -- Great Old Fashions! Please consider supporting local distillery--Clayton distillery. Their bourbon and whiskey are phenomenal and the best Old Fashioned I ever had was made with their Hot Cinnamon Whiskey. -- -- Wonderful

Very nice, clean hotel and great view of the river! They offered turn down service, which we thought was pretty cool but we didn't have time to accept.

I wish I would have realized sooner. There were other pillows in the drawer that probably would have worked better for me. So -- Breakfast was great!. My meal was great. My husband ordered a medium rare steak and it was quite cooked. He can't have a lot of things because he can't have dairy so he doesn't have a lot of choices.

Just reviewing the restaurant, I have never stayed at the hotel. The food was very good, I had the Cobb salad and my wife had the haddock. Both were excellent. We had a delightful server named Delores that made the meal a pleasure.

A northern Paradise is how I would describe this place. The walls throughout are filled with artifacts and old photos of the rich history that has been this surrounding location. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean. We were here with a TANY conference and really enjoyed the stay. Just off the water is a few of the many Thousand islands. I would love to come here again someday!

We just went for one night but had a very nice stay. Bar/restaurant had nice selection of wines and a good menu.

We are going back in about 6 weeks the Hotel was so good. And the location is amazing; right on the River with fantastic River views. -- The bell boy Eric (name?), and in the Restaurant Paul, Sidnee and Payton. They were all wonderful and very competent. -- OMG, the restaurant is a must. We ate there almost every night and the food was consistently off the charts. The flavor of every meal was absolutely outstanding. Our servers were Paul, Payton and Sidnee and their service was fantastic. I cannot overstate the quality of the food; it really is a must.
