WV Glamping Domes

LOVED our weekend getaway! We stayed in Meadowlark and it was beautiful and just what we needed. We had gorgeous views and the location was perfect. We enjoyed time in the hammock, time in the hot tub, and time just relaxing in the chairs facing the mountain. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll on Butterfly Trail and took in all the beauty of the creek and mountains. The dome itself had everything needed including a heated bed! We will definitely be back to check out another dome! P.S. the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash smelled sooooo good!

We stayed at The Manor and had family meet up from across a few states. The location was perfect, easy access but quiet in the woods. The domes are so unique and had just enough provided to feel cozy but still feel like we were camping. The service and communication was above and beyond and we appreciate the hospitality! Thank you for letting us and our family dog come enjoy, relax and disconnect for a weekend getaway. All the yard games were perfect for additional activities and the paddle boards and kayaks are a cherry on top for things to do.

My fiancé and I booked the “Meadowlark” dome for my birthday and oh, my, god, it was BEAUTIFUL! We had the best time cruising around on the golf cart and became fast friends with the farm horse, Elektra, who stopped by our dome every day. We were provided breakfast and the eggs were the best eggs I’ve ever had. I cannot recommend this place enough! The owners were very responsive and the dome provided everything we needed for our stay. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

My husband and I had the absolute best time staying at WV Glamping Domes for our anniversary. It was our first time in the area and it was beautiful. We stayed in the Firelight dome and it was just the place we needed to unwind, and reconnect. Everything was absolutely perfect. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay magical. The homemade hard apple cider Timothy shared with his guests as a thank you for staying was absolutely delicious!! We sipped it by the fire while listening to the WVU-Pitt game! We are looking forward to our next getaway and can't wait to return!

This picturesque creek was a hidden gem, tucked away from the chaos of the city. The moment we arrived, we felt tranquility for the first time in a very long time.
The sound of the flowing water and the gentle rustle of leaves provided the perfect soundtrack for relaxation.

The opportunity to escape the rat race and immerse ourselves in this beautiful valley meant a lot to us. We spent the days exploring the area and marveling at the vibrant foliage. There's something pretty magical about being surrounded by towering trees and breathing in the crisp, fresh air.

Travelers: Continue trying new things. Every experience is a chance to grow and embrace the unknown.

Attention to detail! The hospitality and scenery is stunning. We have been 3 times so far and cannot wait to go back. Enjoy the hot tub and fire pit while listening to the creek or sounds of nature. This place is perfect to escape reality.

I could write a story about this place, but I will sum it up by saying.... WV is said to be ALMOST HEAVEN, WELL I felt closer to HEAVEN than I ever have staying here! WHAT A BLESSING to have this place so close to home and to have had this experience with My Love.. WE will be back!

A Blissful Retreat at WV Glamping Domes - Foxyridge

My wife and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at the WV Glamping Domes, and our stay at the enchanting Foxyridge dome surpassed all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the seamless blend of luxury and nature, making it an anniversary celebration to remember.
First and foremost, the location is absolutely breathtaking. Perched amidst the West Virginia mountains near Alderson, Foxyridge provides panoramic views that are nothing short of spectacular. Waking up to the sunrise casting a warm glow over the fog entrenched mountains was a magical experience that left us in awe.

The Foxyridge dome itself is a masterpiece of modern design and comfort. The spacious interior created an inviting atmosphere that felt like a home away from home. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the cozy bedding to the rainfall shower. One unique feature that truly set Foxyridge apart was the glow-in-the-dark stones embedded in the dome's floor. As the lights dimmed, these stones emitted a soft, ethereal glow, creating a mesmerizing and romantic atmosphere within the dome. It was like having our own private galaxy beneath our feet, adding an extra layer of enchantment to our celebration.

One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the private hot tub, which offered a serene retreat where we could unwind while soaking in the beauty of our surroundings. Even when the rain started to fall, the hot tub became our private oasis, letting us revel in the soothing warmth as we watched the mist dance across the mountains.

From the moment we booked our stay to the time we checked out, they were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, all while respecting our privacy.

This glamping experience is a must try for everyone! I do not consider myself an outdoors person even though I grew up in WV. My husband and I came here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and had an amazing time! The views and attention to detail is very apparent and makes the stay feel like a luxury resort instead of camping! There are plenty of restaurants and shopping close by if you want things to do that are not camping related! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

My husband and I came for a two night stay and it was the perfect quick getaway. The views were relaxing and the hosts went above beyond to ensure we were comfortable no matter what the weather held. We kayaked and soaked up the sun in the river. We grilled out and played games outside at the picnic table. The homemade cider was delicious and there were farm fresh eggs when we arrived. We used the claw foot tubs multiple times and loved relaxing while enjoying the sounds and views of the nature outside. Definitely recommend!

Amazing! This was the most relaxing trip I have ever had. The domes are so comfy and unique. The hot tub and rain shower are fantastic. This is truly a special place. Unwind, relax, & reconnect with nature in a cozy environment. The amenities are perfect. This is a slice of paradise in the beautiful mountains of WV. The meadow, river, and views are stunning. If you have the opportunity to go to WV Glamping Domes, DO IT! The two of us stayed in the newest dome, Foxyridge, and it exceeded our expectations. This is a trip that will never be forgotten. WV Glamping Domes was absolutely perfect!!!! We visited for a girls trip (best friends since high school) and as first time visitors we weren't sure what to expect. From the minute we arrived, we were so impressed with the level of details. The owners have literally thought of everything needed to make your getaway memorable. The ambiance of the domes is spot on. One of the main words I can use to describe this wonderful location is peace. What a wonderful, amazing, unforgettable escape from the everyday chaos of life. I am so glad we found this tucked away hidden gem. This will definitely not be our last visit!!!! The owners were so very responsive and helpful with our many questions and even when we had a slight issue (caused by us lol) the owner was there to help us within 10 minutes. I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity and am fortunate to have found one of my new favorite spots!!!!!!!

Our 3 night stay here was incredible. We were gifted with fresh eggs and hard apple cider…both delicious. Everything was provided for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, the outdoor shower was wonderful. We had a hot tub and fire pit. The amazing view of the river stream was my favorite thing. The owner is such a nice guy. They truly want everyone to have a beautiful experience. The area is so beautiful. Lights around our dome gorgeous. So peaceful and relaxing. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Our two-night honeymoon retreat was nothing short of magical. Timothy, the owner, charmed us with his exceptional customer service, making us feel like cherished guests.

The experience was an embodiment of rustic luxury - from the beautifully adorned dome itself to the farm-fresh eggs gifted to us from the property. We sipped on Timothy's delicious homemade cider while marveling at the thought and care put into every corner of our abode.

Our vigilant watch for the elusive creek otters became a delightful evening ritual, one that added a touch of wonder to our cozy fireside chats.

Our clawfoot bathtubs became vessels of shared laughter and intimate moments, a testament to the carefully designed experience. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Timothy surprised us with the indulgence of a hot tub under the stars in one of the captivating domes - a gesture that melted our hearts.

The surroundings were a symphony of lush greenery and a sky peppered with stars that seemed to stretch on forever. We left the hustle and bustle behind, enveloped in the tranquil embrace of nature. The seclusion was perfection, nestled amidst picturesque farmlands, yet conveniently close to Lewisburg for those craving a taste of town life.

Our hearts are already set on a return, a promise of future memories waiting to be woven into the fabric of this beautiful landscape. From the moment we arrived it was beyond perfect. The lanterns were lit outside and, the hot tub was on and ready. The inside of the dome was incredible. The pictures on the website absolutely do not show the full beauty of the the dome. Every detail was carefully thought out and executed flawlessly. It was incredibly comfortable, very cozy and a great way to relax. We were fortunate enough to be in the first dome and the sounds of the rushing water added to the relaxing stay.

I would highly recommend anyone considering a stay to book it. You will love it.

We are first time “glampers” and had a wonderful getaway here! They have thoughtfully executed every little detail you could think of with these domes. For the chilly nights the beds are heated, each of the soaker tubs had their own heater, AND the toilet seat is heated! They offer complimentary farm eggs and hard cider which was amazing. They are fast with communication for anything you may need or issues during your stay, and they are very accommodating to make your stay unique and special. Everything you need for cooking and such is included, but Lewisburg is within 25-30 minutes for restaurants and shopping if desired. This was such a great space and hope to return in the future!
