Very busy, but that is to be expected. The best subs in western NY. I am just sorry that they closed the one in Batavia. We would go more often, but Alden is a hike.

Food is great and service is fast. Don't have to wait long for your order. Don't try to have it delivered it will take well over an hour and a half.
Edit: Ordered a chicken and cheese pizza today. It was ok BUT there was NO chicken on it at all!! Open your pizza box to make sure they have everything on it!!!

This place is like a time capsule!! I love it! I remember coming here when I was a kid and it still has that same simple family oriented feel to it! Great food, arcade games, and amazing staff that make you feel at home!

I ordered 5 chicken fingers and open Chicken souvlaki salad. The took about an hour and I live right behind them. Also they young kid came to my door and said it was $59! For just that. I asked again ans he said yeah $49 . I gave them $55 Because of tip but something was wrong no way it was $49 . I'll never get delivery again.

My chicken souvalki sub was perfect. Absolutely delicious.

Staff is great, very friendly and professional. Had the medium wings and they were perfect. Chicken finger sub was also amazing. Will definitely eat there again.

It's been about 8 years since I've had food from John & Mary's. It was every bit as delicious as I remember. While this location could use a remodel, don't be put off because the service is excellent and the food is SUPER YUMMY!!!

Never had any issues. We order from there at least 2-3 times a month. We usually do delivery, but have eaten in the restaurant several times. Closest thing to real buffalo style pizza in this area.

I lived in Buffalo for 30 years and when I moved away the two things I always had to have when I came home was J & M sausage Hoagy with extra sauce and Ted's Hot dogs. My sister used to live in Lockport so it was very convenient, they were both in town. Now they are both gone but I will drive almost anywhere when I come home to get my 2 fixes. And I found out I can buy the J & M sausage hoagie sauce!!!!! So some came home to Ohio with me this trip. 😁

Love this place! It was a regular stop on long bike rides. Went back this week and enjoyed some super salads!

I usually go to Attica location but this time I stopped here, same good food and staff was also nice. The Manager gave my daughter a stuffed animal because our food took a little long!

I have been to the other John and Mary's in the area, and absolutely hated them!! John and Mary's in Alden is a whole different creature tho!! From what I understand they are now all independently owned!!! Whomever is the owner of the Alden shop, I give you kudos!! The food is so much to better than the rest of j&m's, and I would have no problem ordering from you again!!

I stopped there the other day at late dinner time, I had some issues I didn't expect!! All I can say is the ?? Owner?? Manager?? Made me feel so welcomed, and wished me a Merry Christmas. I will definitely make sure I return the favor and they are my deffinate favorite in Alden! Not just cause of the help, but the food is awesome 👍🏻

Had a steak hoagie and a turkey sub. Both were fresh and delicious. Nice friendly service as well

Not sure why so many people have problems here, we've never had any issues. Food is good and the staff is friendly, yea on busy nights it may take longer to get your food but that's pretty expected. Just plan ahead and don't order at the last second

I got a pizza for lunch. It was beyond amazing. The crust was thin like a NY style. The sausage was absolutely delicious they are doing it all right it’s the best pizzeria in Alden by a long shot

Great place to eat on a Darien lake day. The 7 min drive from the park for their pizza, subs, and ice cream is totally worth it. It’s far better quality and cheaper than feeding a group of people in the park. The last time I stopped in, there were 2 adults and 3 teenagers and we fed all of us for under $50. I think we got a large cheese pep, a taco pizza, and a couple of 2 liters and ate it there.

Stopped in for a slice of local. Delicious pizza! Sauce was exploding with flavor and crust was perfectly cooked! Great lunch special price. Will be back

I order from here all the time..they have the best pizza..fish fry.. antipasto...the only issue is that they give you a 30 min. Wait time and you still can be standing there... for another 10 to 15 minutes.
