Buy the lumber that you can't find at Home Depot. Also, they that a person on staff who can design the LVLs that I had to install in place for a load bearing wall I took down.

I had ordered to Solano for 8years all materials for renovations. He is great guy and kind.

Danny O'shea is the man.

Salesman seems genuine. But can't seem to figure out how to give them money. A check I gave "was denied". Turns out company they use to guarantee checks just wanted my bank to talk to them. Silly. Still have not picked up returns. Bad communication all around. Getting bought doesn't seem to have been a positive thing here.

Update 3/9/2019. Not a quality services company. Had to keep calling them out to fix what they installed. Any cost savings was eaten up in management oversight on our part. Never try to buy custom doors either. Good for sticks and nails. Not so sure about the rest.

The logistics of this company makes no sense. Ever since Builder First Source bought out BMC no location has everything you need. It’s also ridiculous that Home Depot is consistently cheaper than a supply house. Builders definitely keep this place alive, don’t bother unless you have a huge account with discounts.

Beware of some of their sales representatives, particularly Daniel O'shea who is outright terrible, arrogant and inept. They will connive to deceive customers, attempt to forcefully sell and impose items not required and swindle you, if you're not careful.

When their antics are identified and they can't have their way, they will stop responding to messages, not pick phones or communicate, specifically Gerald Barnes.

Worst of all, they try to toss unsuspecting customers around, dodge responsibility and repeatedly lie about everything when you call the company or their so-called representatives. Don't waste your time trying to buy anything through Daniel O'shea or Builders FirstSource.

The counter guys at BFS Tucker are some of the ruder lumber guys I have dealt with. I don’t know who peed in their Cheerios, but these guys don’t have good days. In an industry that tends to be unwelcoming, they are a standout. Makes my Carolina Lumber salesperson look like Mother Teresa.

Also picking up from this place is worse than going to the dentist. There may be 50 guys in forklifts pulling material, but if I am waiting on something, not a single one cares. I was literally laughed at last time I tried to get someone to take my ticket and pull my order.

BFS is an organization built to be inhospitable due to it behemoth nature. But geniality certainly is not baked into the culture of this particular branch.

This is the absolute worst company ever. Do not at all costs ever order from them. The price may be right but the execution is abysmal. I am months behind in a construction project. Nothing has been delivered correctly and if delivered as promised such as windows they show up with the frame and nothing else. They over promise and completely under deliver. Go to Home Depot heck go to Builders Surplus but do not even think about going here. I can not advise enough. Does not even deserve one star. They should be out of business.
