Moondance RV and Campground

Very convenient location. Quiet at night. Sites are huge and paved. Park clean and landscaped. Staff friendly!!! Close to Colorado National Monument.

Pretty cool spot for 20.00 a night. Got showers bathroom. layed back atmosphere and people. Awesome office personal. Very clean place.

I loved this campground because of the service that I got from Bill. He was a kind and charismatic person who provided us with firewood and a tent site with soft rubber, firewood, and a picnic table. If you want to explore the Grand Junction area and are looking for just a place to sleep and maybe have a fire, this is a wonderful place to go. Restrooms are well-maintained and showers are better than other campsites I've been to. Not only this, but the tent sites are $15 a night, which cannot be beat.

Customer service was amazing! Prices are fair and campsites are well maintained with fire pits. Showers and bathrooms are easily accessible. Everything is within a very short drive, and there are hiking trails nearby.

My husband and I are new, full-time RVers and just arrived at Moondance two days ago for our first extended stay. We were turned down for a monthly rate by KOA and a few other parks in town simply because we have an older (90s) class A, despite its excellent mechanical and exterior condition. This was not an issue for the manager, Bill, who was extremely friendly and welcoming. He also provided great advice on how to get our rig set up properly, which we very much appreciated as new and relatively inexperienced members of the full-time RV community. The prices are comparable to other parks in town, and they do not charge extra for electric and have excellent wifi--important for us as we're both online students and professionals requiring reliable internet access. We found the negative reviews posted by others to be completely unfounded (read the owner's responses too for a good laugh). Sure there are "nicer" parks like KOA out there, but if you're like us and would prefer to give your hard-earned money to good people who genuinely care about hospitality, then Moondance is the place!

Owners are great. Facilities are clean. Free WiFi. Prices are very fair. Stayed here many times, & will definitely stay again.
