Very extensive and fun MTB trails. The two I went on had a bunch of fast sweeping turns. Could easily spend a couple of days here to ride them all. Good parking area. Access road is rough in areas.

It's a great recreation spot with continuous work being done to make it better. The new lower parking lot is very nice, and I am excited for the new trails going in.

Amazing area for mountain biking and class 1 electrics are allowed and are perfect for this massive area. Free camping below the pay campgrounds, pronghorns running around with beautiful mountain views all around. Had to clean up a ton of glass, nails and bullet casings, locals need to respect the land better…

The ride we did was so fun! We did prime cut and it was so much more fun and easier than others say it was! It is so fun to ride! I definitely recommend coming here!

We go out all the time. Love having access to so much country to travel and enjoy.
We go shooting and riding out mini bikes most weekends.

Spent 4 days in Fruita. Rode my mountain bike and dirt bike up off 18 Road trail heads. Good stuff!

Amazing! Camping was awesome, trails were great, and town was close enough for food/necessities.

If you enjoy outdoors of any kind this is a great place. I ride dirtbikes, camp, shoot and ride mountainboard out here. I see people doing many other activities. Great place to get away but still be close to civilization

Fantastic campsite just up the road from the trailhead. Loved watching jackrabbits and prairie dogs running through the campground at sunset. Nice wide open spaces and particularly good hammock spots.

Great spot. $20 reservations or free at the dispersed areas. Crowds on weekends, which have been quiet and respectful at night. It's so quiet at night during the week that any noise is noticeable.. so yeah, turn off your music. So many friendly people on the trails, too. Super clean pit toilets in the pay areas and trailhead. They have seemed to switch to super cheap T.P. so you have to use 2x as much.

Do they ever smooth the washboard road in? It wouldn't take much effort and would save a lot of wear and tear on people's suspensions

This is a phenomenal place to have a group mountain bike trip. Trails for all abilities and camping is trailside. There are not many trees around and shade can be hard to find.

Campgrounds, trails, decent bathrooms. The road to get there could use some serious improvements

Awesome Mt biking. The local trail organization has done a great job here.

Respect the one way trails....read the maps and signage for everyone's safety

Make sure you get your campsite booked but the riding is great with all different trails made for a range of skill levels. My favorite? Joes ridge of course :)
