Fast Great Food !! Had the Bacon cheese Burger with Mennonite cheese and green chili on my fries. It was almost like a Chico's tacos, but with green chili sauce, and it was delicious. Green chili was spicy but not overbearing. The mennontie cheese was fire!! Overall, five-star!! Come check them out!!

We come to Borderland Cafe quite regularly from Deming (30 minutes away) as it is one of our favorite lunch spots. Today was our first visit since they remodeled and updated the menu. We are happy to say the food is still great, and the interior even better. Great food, great service, and a great small town New Mexico atmosphere. Definitely stop by when passing through or when you feel like taking a drive from Deming or Rockhound SP.

Great little place in Columbus, NM! A place like this in a small, remote town like this could easily just be mediocre and do well. But THIS place is excellent! The food and portions were great. The atmosphere was great. The prices were reasonable, considering the location. Plenty of options for all types of appetites. You couldn't ask for more!

Was working for 2 days in Columbus this week, and for lunch this place caught our eye. Great food, excellent environment, and fantastic service and staff! We came for dinner after work as well and we had their pizza. All of their food is good, but the pizza is a must! The owners are also super friendly and welcoming, and this experience was so great, will be coming back with a friend from Belize to experience. (We got here close to closing so I only got these pics)

What a great place is a very small town. Their breakfast and cold brew were fabulous. Very friendly staff and wonderful service. Would send anyone there if they're heading through that area of New Mexico. Highly recommend this restaurant 😊

Nice clean little place with good folks and good food! You can get an amazing green chili sauce on almost anything from burgers to fries to pizza. Didn't have time to go back for breakfast, so that'll be next time.

Got the nachos to go. I think it was Taco Nachos. For me it was spicy...lips on fire and down the esophagus. For other folks I know, they would have been perfect. There was a fair amount of the crema, so when I got back to my campsite, some of the chips were soggy. But that's okay. The portion size is pretty substantial and I didn't want to eat it all anyway. The cucumber limeade was delish. All in all, it was a good dinner.

If you're passing through, this is a must for a stop! The food is excellent and the staff is so nice and amazing! Especially the lady who took my order - she's so sweet!

I've driven by this spot so many times during the period I was exploring the Tres Hermanas Mountains, and I regret not stopping here sooner!! Highly recommend!

Quaint little cafe with plenty of out door seating and good food. Service was good and staff friendly. I had the Border burger with enchiladas fries covered in a mild green chile sauce & cheese. Had a native visitor (road runner) stroll by.

Very friendly staff and on the spot cooked to order food. They have added a drive up window to keep serving customers who prefer eating in the shaded tables. It is great to find such a clean eatery in such a small and out-of-the-way town.
