Kristen was an exceptional server who consistently met our needs and desires. She stood out as the best server I experienced during my time in Arizona. I highly recommend the restaurant, especially if you can be served by Kristen.

Excellent service! Our server, Hiba, was so attentive, friendly, and efficient.
The view outside the restaurant is beautiful. The sound of waterfalls inside the restaurant is calming and makes the dining experience memorable.

Cool place, a bit pricey with limited breakfast choices but the waitresses were super healthy, friendly and nice!

Great breakfast, great coffee! Josie was a wonderful server. She made waking up and getting the day going more enjoyable.

My first breakfast here at Market Cafe on top of the rock was sublime! Breakfast was prepared to perfection, and my attentive server Josie changed the future of my eggs forever. As she was passing my table, she saw me put 5 little dots of cholula on my poached egg on the second half of my everything bagel. She suggested with a wink I might like it even better with more. She was right. 😄 I’m from out of town, so when dining in the Tempe/Phoenix area, I appreciate expansive desert views and memorable eating experiences. I’m looking for memories, not bargains. So glad to find this spot. Great atmosphere, rock and waterfalls built into the dining spaces, varied landscaping inside and out, wide view, lovely music, friendly and helpful staff, and my delicious All American breakfast. I had a great experience, and I’ll remember it fondly every time I sauce my eggs Josie-Style!

We love to stay at the Buttes. We love our breakfast at this place. Hiba our lovely girl is very kind, sweet, approachable, and hospitable and always takes care of us. She always makes our stay extra special. Please ask for her when you visit this place. She is extraordinary. Thanks, Hiba for everything you did for us. Came here for Easter Brunch and all six of us loved it! Our waitress was excellent and I wish I knew her name! Presentation of all food was outstanding especially the pastries and desserts! The shrimp was like butter! I don't eat meat but there was plenty to choose from. We will be back! Great value!

It’s gone through many changes since I last visited and it’s a unique resort but is tired and need a refresh menu was okay but expensive for what was delivered but the views can’t be beat

I had their Chino salad which essentially is a Chinese chicken salad with a ginger dressing that I found very bitter. Probably wouldn't order this again because of all the Napa cabbage but, that's my fault. The menu clearly states the ingredients. I started with coffee and stayed through lunch I loved the vibe so much! Their baked goods look amazing and the service was great.

We had all week taken in the different breakfast spots in the Tempe area and this is no exception, sometimes you save the best for last. Our waitress was :Hiba", a very pleasant and personable young lady, very attentive. We opted for breakfast items off the menu vs the buffet, and all was enjoyed. We had eggs, breakfast meats and toast with tea and coffee. While dining we were greeted by the floor manager, very nice of her, all the staff are very welcoming. It's a very pleasing dining area, we were seated by the indoor waterfalls, very beautiful. Whether your staying at the resort or not, if your like us and enjoy a great breakfast, put the Market on your list to try, you'll enjoy.

My mother was in town from out of state and we'd wanted to take her to dine next to their waterfall feature. We didn't know that area was only open for breakfast and lunch. Once Jose heard my mother was visiting from out of state, he immediately accommodated us. He asked that a table be readied for us in the 'closed' area and had a waitress get our drink and food orders started. Our waitress Kristen, along with her assistant (I've forgotten his name. He had beautiful black, curly hair) were so friendly and efficient. We had my 2 year old grandson with us and Kristen made sure to bring him a kids menu with crayons. All 3 of them checked on us regularly, made us feel welcome and kept our drinks filled. Jose came down and offered my grandson a popsicle for dessert (not knowing popsicles are his FAVORITE right now). Jose even brought down a few so he could pick his own flavor. The food was delicious! The BLT my daughter-in-law ordered was HUGE and was visually pleasing as well. I had the rainbow trout...YUMMM! My friend had the NY strip steak and it was not only cooked exactly as he likes it, it was perfectly seasoned and able to be cut with a butter knife. You can NOT go wrong with a visit here; from the impeccable staff to the delectable food and beautiful views indoors and out. I will be bringing future guests to dine here for sure! Thank you Jose, Kristen and everyone else who helped make our experience so enjoyable this past Labor Day!

In the Hotel's lobby, this small bar also offers tasty meals and have good drinks options, draft beers, and wine.
I arrived at the hotel late at night, and this was my only option, but I had a fantastic salad and a glass of beer.
They are doing just right for what they are, where they are, and their customers want.

I can't believe I have never been to this hotel. It has great desert ambiance in a unique setting. The thanksgiving brunch was fantastic, particularly the turkey and omelette station. Good service and food.

We had a blast here and the waiter Chris was great. Food was good. We at the shrimp ceviche & salsa , guac and chips and of course a margaritas. yummy. Nice view too.

Another great experience at The Buttes dining. Market Cafe had such wonderful ambiance and the beautiful waterfall. It's a gorgeous oasis nestled in the rock formations in the desert.
