Route 96 Diner

Stopped here for breakfast while visiting Cayuga Lake and it was really good. I like to try hole in the wall places like this and it didn't disappoint. I got 3 eggs with meat and corned beef hash. The food was cooked to order and everything was fresh. Prices are great for the amount of food you get. Service was friendly and efficient.

Honestly one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. If you love diner food, come for breakfast! Service was great, too.

The best burger I’ve had in a long time. The whole dining area is the size of your least favorite kids bedroom but the food is amazing! Have to try the “Cowboy Burger”

Must say best cheddar cheese burger in a long time, wish we didn't live an hour away.. don't be discouraged by the outside. Great food, great prices and great company!! And if your get lucky enough you might get to meet Giovanni.

A very small place to eat. traffic. Limited menu. Closes at 7pm, closed Sat (?). Had a great hotdogs, wife had a great ham and cheese. No wifi or cell due to aluminum siding. Very few places to eat in this area, it is very quiet, almost no ttaffic on most of the roads during the weekdays.

It's like being in your home. People say hello to even strangers. The food is a good serving at a reasonable price. You don't feel rushed. I am going back.

Excellent food, we love her “ Cowboy Burger & Mushroom Swiss Burger” . Definitely recommend and will come back again!

Had lunch and the food was great and the portions were huge. We will definitely go back and try breakfast sometime.

Driving from Buffalo to NYC and was fortunate to land at the Route 96 Diner. (We actually missed it the first time, it's so tiny.) The "Tully" burger comes with the works and the homemade chips were excellent. Also, look for homemade cookies, jams, and pies on the counter.

Just asked Google about eateries in the area. I just wanted a good breakfast and you can't beat Route 96 Diner for that. I ordered the three egg cheese and sausage omelette and my wife had the french toast. All arrived in nothing flat. Service was great. I also purchased some homemade cherry preserves that came with my toast. Hope you try this eatery soon.

This is a tiny place, yet whenever we go we get a table. There is also a counter where singles eat or sit while waiting for their takeout food. We have never had any bad food here; my man loves their mac 'n cheese. They have a regular menu and daily specials. The mother and daughter team do a great job as cook and waitress and we always feel right at home.

Awesome home cooked food and great friendly service. My breakfast was delicious and came with fresh baked bread with homemade jam! My friends and I left with jams and baked goods. Great menu and reasonable prices.

The 96 Diner has the best home cooked meals and great iced tea. Owners run it and really super nice people. My husband and I enjoy going for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

This is such a sweet little spot to get great food, plenty of it at a very reasonable price. They have one of the best fish fry around.

Food is always good! And their prices are very reasonable.
