Brent is one of the two men up front and he makes the experience at the post office extremely pleasant! He is polite and EXTREMELY helpful! I have been to this post office at least 8 times and every time MOST of the staff are polite, fast and helpful!! Thank you all!
Not sure why this post office gets so many BAD reviews!! Probably because positive experiences barely leave a review.

BEWARE!! I went to drop off mail on a Sunday and someone took the USPS express boxes, folded them up and clogged up the mail box. There was a lot of mail that was floating on top which I'm sure they were coming back later to steal. Make sure you check that your mail went all the way down before you drive off.

Lawton was awesome to work with. Made our passport appointment go extremely easy and fast.

I have always had great service at the Dacula Post Office. The main staff at the front desk are always super helpful, knowledgeable, and kind! Recently renewed my passport there and it was seamless! Also, I love our mailman Ted! He has been delivering mail to our street for many many years! He gives the best service, he is kind and genuine!

Five years ago, I had such an unpleasant experience with the Dacula Post Office that I had not returned. For five years I had taken my business elsewhere to avoid terrible service and terrible attitudes, even though in many cases I would have had to pay more. Today, my husband had a package he needed to be mailed internationally that had to be sent through the post office (I don't know why). I reluctantly went, and I was prepared for a nightmare. HOWEVER when I went (on a Friday around 1pm) I had a wonderful experience. The two employees I interacted with were quick, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and COMPLETELY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. I was so pleased. I will return.

The two guys that work there are always polite and helpful. Kathryn is consistently rude and doesn't answer any questions I have properly. She is also always chomping on her gum. Nothing will happen. Kathryn will continue to be the way she is. I hope she finds something that makes her happy coming to work.

I just read the 2 posted complaints about service & attitude problems at the Dacula Post Office . . . and my experience has been 90%+ POSITIVE, both at the Counter and with the Carriers delivering to my home. Sure, some of the staff is new or part time and are not as experienced or fast; while the longer-term employees know their jobs well (and are often helping the newer staff member with on-the-job training . . . which is tough to do when much of it takes place in front of customers).

And yes, like everyone else, I love when there is no one in line ahead of me, and hate it when I am waiting in line with only 1 clerk at the counter. Overall - they are doing a good job for me!

A registered package was inadvertently returned to the post office as undeliverable address. I received a call from Kay in the Dacula main post office who was researching redelivery. I found her very patient, listened to my explanation, and she searched for the package and called me back that she had found it! She held it for me to pick it up the very next day. Kay is a wonderful postal employee and has excellent customer service.

I have no clue why there are so many negative reviews on this location. I just walked in right before closing, and they were absolutely willing to help and such sweet people! Five stars from me.

so kind, helpful and efficient. I came for a passport photo and send off. I was in an out in about 3 minutes. no exaggeration

We had the MOST positive experience applying for a passport today (June 2020).
LAWTON was uber-efficient, conversational, and we were in and out in a very timely manner. I had some anxiety because of past experiences with Dacula PO's passport services (not with her).

Over the past 9 years I have always found the management and staff at the Dacula Post Office to be pleasant, accommodating and very capable of handling all of my postal needs. The negative reviews posted on this site are completely contrary to the many experiences I have had dealing with this Post Office. Mike McMain, Dacula, Georgia

Just moved here from NYC and this is the best experience I’ve had from any USPS. Staff are always courteous, friendly and efficient. So far it’s always been a pleasant experience coming to the counter for service-just had to leave a review.

I have now shipped over 50 fragile items emananting from this post office and have not once had a problem. I have met many of the workers here. Every single one is pleasant and capable. I love my local USPS!

Walton was very very kind. Felt comfortable. Service was quick and easy. Passport services were also quick. They deserve a raise and I mean that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love this place every single employee is so nice and remembers me and my 2 year old daughter every time we go in. Applied for my daughters first passport which went smoothly that employee is a bit quite doesn’t really make conversation but still was really nice not rude or anything just not very talkative either way I go out of my way to this usps as oppose to the Buford location.

Came here for a passport, they were efficient and really kind.

The place was very clean and bright. The Cashier that I interacted with today was courteous polite and professional.
