Absolutely a MUST DO!!! I can't believe it's been hidden from me for so long. The staff is sooo friendly. It was so relaxing. We did the grab a pottery piece, and paint it. They did not rush me at all. In fact, they are letting me come back, at no charge, to work on it some more. My son surprised me, and it's a memory I'll have with him forever. I also can't wait to go back. I might have found a new hobby! I'll update more later on.

Love going to The Pigeon and Hen Pottery! I have been there multiple times and have a great time every time; no bad experiences! Wish there were more places like this. A lot of great variety to choose from with a variety of prices. Always something new when I come in. The workers are always super friendly and helpful as well.

My bf and i went for a date one afternoon and loved it! Beautiful place and people there ❤ there was a decent variety of pottery to choose from (cups, plates, figurines, salt/pepper shakers, Halloween decor, etc) and my bf chose a turtle to hang on the wall and I got a dragon goblet. We had the option of acrylic vs glazed. Glazed takes about 2 weeks to get back to you but it's a very normal time frame. We had a reservation but some people came without a reservation and were able to get in until later in the day. Nice variety of paints, stencils, tape, and an inspiration station. We literally spent 4 hours and had a b.l.a.s.t. I highly recommend!

Seriously the cutest place to bring adults and children to enjoy creating art ! I'm obsessed.

We had so much fun painting pottery today! My husband (a self-proclaimed non-artist) used acrylics to paint a dish. And I used glazes to paint a planter.
The staff are very helpful, explaining all the procedures, offering advice, and answering any questions.
Don't expect it to be quick and easy, unless you plan on using only one color. You will need multiple coats of glaze, and probably want to make designs or decorations on your creation.

Second time here I did the beginner’s pottery wheel class. Amazing space and a delightful teacher. I would fully recommend! So peaceful.

First time I went I just painted a coffee mug and that was also very cool. Just go there!

I absolutely LOVE coming here. It is such a great place to take my neighbor when I babysit her, my mom for some mom time, and even my friends for a girls night. I have brought my fiance before, too, and he loved it! Will be coming back always!

First of all I love that it is close to the town I live in! Second the workers are nice and helpful. Many different things to paint. My son loves to paint and I can't wait for him to get a couple years older so he can make a piggy bank. The place is lively and there are many things to get creative ideas from too.

I love this place! Great place to go relax and paint or do pottery. It's fairly inexpensive but is based off what you want to paint. You can pass at least a couple hours here just painting and not realize it. The staff is more then helpful and very friendly. This is a fantastic addition to downtown South Bend.

Absolutely delightful. Everyone is kind and helpful. The kids classes are fun and educational plus so BEAUTIFUL when complete. Instructors are incredibly knowledgeable. If you simply drop in to paint something pre made as opposed to a class, the selection is outstanding and always being updated.

Have to always do three coats of paint so plan on a good chunk of time for this activity, depending on how big the pottery piece is and how complex the paint job. Anywhere from 1-4 hours.

They are amazing to work with for fundraising and extremely generous. Their products are quality and adorable. Their team is so friendly and helpful. I would recommend them for any projects individually, for the family or for a group!!!

The staff are helpful and available for assistance. They're always sticking more new items so every time you go there's something new to paint. You can call ahead and ask for them to hold specific, popular items (e.g. Darth Vader head). They answer their messages quickly and are always professional.

My awesome niece Destiny worked here! Her last day of work was a few weeks ago and we got to do a family event with my sisters, nieces and nephews . Great service amd experience with the family.

I visited for the first time today and I'm already planning my next visit! They have lots of different glazes, tools, and ceramic pieces available to use. Staff is super friendly!!

One of our favorite Christmas traditions is coming to Pigeon & The Hen and painting ornaments. The staff is helpful while the store is clean and welcoming. A great place to make memories and to have fun.

Any level of person will appreciate how great this place is. Great for adults and kiddos! The price is really worth it! Will be going back anytime I'm in town!
