Early Bird Catering

Devon and team catered for our wedding in Sept 2022. Early Bird was incredibly helpful and accommodating for our ~70 person event and created a reasonably priced menu to our needs and preferences. They were exceptionally professional, courteous, and provided excellent service. Devon went out of his way to deliver tastings directly to us to help with our decisions on the menu. We received so many compliments from our guests about the food, and even today whenever our wedding comes up in conversation, the food is always raved over. I highly recommend Early Bird for anyone considering them for a future event. Thanks again to you all and hope you've had well deserved success.

We had great catering experience with Deven and the team. We ordered catering for a 12-day event and our team was very happy with the hearty and delicious meals we received for both breakfast and lunch. They delivered the orders to our location and responsive to our feedback throughout the process. We recommended Early Bird Catering wholeheartedly!

Our crew was out plowing today and needed a quick rest, a coffee and some food. We decided to meet at the Early Bird in Colchester. First things first, the staff is incredible and goes above and beyond to give you the knowledge of what they offer. Secondly, the food in itself was a pure delicacy, everything tasted fabulous, fresh and you can sense the passion these guys put in their work. We will be back time and time again. I would not hesitate to eat at this place!

Just had the fully loaded breakfast sandwich, with chipotle aioli. Absolutely phenomenal. Great prices, very filling, and tasty. Highly recommend!

As soon as we walked in, we felt welcomed! The staff is super friendly, helpful, and makes some amazing food! We came in for breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. Both were the best we’ve had in Vermont. You can tell how much they care about both customer quality, and food quality! Thanks again! We will be back often

We hired Deven and Early Bird Catering for our rehearsal dinner for our wedding. Deven hit it out of the park! He was so helpful in the process leading up to the event, helping me navigate getting enough food, making sure everyone would be happy and dealing with a few dietary restrictions. We had 30 people coming and I had never put on an event of this size let alone ordered catering. Deven was so king and helpful through all of my questions and provided great guidance. For our event everything was amazing! Deven's appetizers hit it out of the park and we couldn't get people away. We received so many compliments on the cheese and charcuterie and our friends and family felt a real taste of the best Vermont has to offer. Dinner was also absolutely amazing. We had bbq pork and chicken and sides. The meat was so tender and flavorful and just absolutely made the night. Dessert, to no surprise was also excellent. Despite there being plenty of doughnuts, there wasn't a single one left over. I am so thankful for Deven and Early Bird making our night so special and leaving our guests so satisfied. I will absolutely book them again and highly recommend to anyone who needs catering in the area.

We worked with Early Bird Catering for our wedding and we were so happy we did. First off, Deven's food is INCREDIBLE. We loved it back when we first did our tasting, and we loved it on our wedding day. We got so many compliments from our guests about it, and we honestly wish we had gotten more leftovers but everyone had loved the food so much! Deven and his team were so nice, so genuine, and so accommodating despite a last minute (and unrelated to them in any way) hitch the week of our wedding. Deven was super kind and understanding and did everything he could to take stress off us during what was a very stressful week. The day of our wedding he jumped up to help with everything and anything he could, sourcing more plates when we weren't left enough for the cake, and jumping right in to take over cutting. If you want to work with some amazing people and an AMAZING chef, Deven and Early Bird are the way to go. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they deserve it!!!

This place is L-E-G-I-T! We stopped in for a quick bite while on lunch break. As soon as we walked in they welcomed us, walked us through their menu, ingredients, and what the fan favorite's are. Everything is made fresh and you can tell by the quality of the food. The staff is upbeat and very professional. We might just make this our weekly stop! Hats off to Early Bird Catering!

I normally don't do reviews. However - this place was worthy of acknowledgment. The cooks are absolutely on point! The staff and the vibe of the place is welcoming, professional and helpful. Whenever we travel back through Colchester, we will be back Early Bird Catering.

Easy to work with, support accommodating. Ordered a bulk order of sandwiches they were phenomenal. Highly recommend both the Cubanos and the overall catering experience from here!

For a pretty new establishment, I am blown away. We stopped in for some lunch and left with a full belly. The food is absolutely amazing, quality, fresh and the taste is everlasting. Thank you for lunch!

Exceptional food, very professional!

Food was good, service was shockingly bad. We had some issues during our event that we wanted to discuss (both meals were delivered over 15 minutes late, some of the food was not hot, some of the dishes weren't clean, the staff didn't know their responsibilities and were asking our staff for guidance). In response to my email I received an unbelievably rude phone call from an employee who yelled at me, wouldn't let me speak, and then hung up on me. When I called back to speak with the owner I was told that I disrespected the employee who had called me by trying to interrupt her, the driver was late because he was new and didn't know how to do deliveries on his own and we should have helped him. When I suggested that this wasn't our job and we were busy in the meeting (since the delivery was late) I was told not to disrespect the Early Bird staff. The excuses and rude behavior continued. I was shocked by the unprofessionalism and am shocked that Early Bird is in business. I would not recommend using them.
