Beautiful space.
Their hoppy beers were very good. They play with a lot of different flavours.

We ran through a few flights because there were a really wide variety of styles. Some of them were incredibly boozy, which is less for me but might be awesome for you.

A nice brewery with a great atmosphere. There is a limited selection to choose from but a nice spot to enjoy the sun.

I work nearby so i've been here countless times and I always enjoy the beers and the vibe (and extra points for the shuffleboard table).

They always come up with new beers on their menu and I feel like the quality has improved over time. My current favorite is the jenjanm. It's amazing, I'm starting to crave it as I'm typing this even though it's not even 11am yet.

I really enjoyed this brewery. They have a nice space here with a patio. The nice fellow working there opened up a spot on the patio so we could sit and enjoy their beer with our dog even thought it was fairly cold out. You can tell they care about their beer making here. Some really good beers here. Not just a brew pub that you might typically find in the Boston area.

BRAVO LAMPLIGHTER, BRAVO. The only, and I repeat, the ONLY, bar/lounge/restaurant I have ever gone to that actually has signs up to keep women safe, seen and protected. Why this isn’t a norm everywhere is beyond me. See pic for details!

Alongside that, they have a great selection of locally crafted beers in different size glasses. Food option is subpar and could be more options at a lower price, but they have this place set up pretty much as an after work bar with patio seating to grab a drink with your coworkers. Great atmosphere and drinks!

BLUF: The place feels great. Below are the reasons why and some helpful tips to plan your next visit.

I stopped by on the day of opening and now can’t wait to come back here with friends!
Right now dine in is not open yet, but should be open at any day.

Here is what I loved about it:

1. My dog was immediately welcomed. He got petted and got a treat. I appreciated that I was initially asked (a) whether it’s ok to pet my dog, and (b) whether it’s ok to give him the treat.

2. I got a nice intro to the brewery. Here is what I learned:
(a) You can buy beer, meat and cheese boards to go
(b) You can bring food from outside if you want
(c) They don’t take reservations
(d) The place has two floors and can take up to 300 ppl
(e) Canned beer sells in packs of 4 cans

Very glad to have the brewery in the neighborhood!

The beers were great. I love that they offer a snack mix for $1.

Another win for the Boston area beer scene. Places like this are a magnet for social connection and community. The Lamplighter team pours their heart into everything they do and it shows- not just the consistently high quality of their beer, but also their kind, knowledgeable and well trained staff. Cambridge is lucky to have businesses like Lamplighter in their community. Charcuterie boards are an 11/10 and just the best combo to enjoy with a beer!!

The upstairs space was perfect for a large event and yet separate enough from the downstairs bar that was able to stay open to non-event guests.

This place is a gem. I love their beer and also their atmosphere. What is the best is that you can bring in outside food as well, which makes everything so nicer. I definitely recommend their cheese platter as well.

We the Belgian people, enjoyed the locally brewed beers for the following reasons:
- Taste
- Presentation of the beer
- Presence of foam

This place is AWESOME!
We had gone to the other location they had and were definitely going to check this one out.

The place is super spacious and cool! The beer is amazing as always, and the charcuterie boards looked great too (we didn't try them)!

Definitely recommended

Lively spot with lots of taps, board games, cheese and many seating options. Grab a couch to relax, or sit at the crowded bar.
Friendly staff will help you chose from a tart sour to a double IPA.

That the young man overseeing the entrance and merch counter was reading Sartre’s The Plague was a good sign. So was being located along and near the end of the Somerville Community Path, at least to this cyclist in need of a pit stop. There are three standards by which to rate a microbrewery: food, physical location and quality of beer. Since I only had time (and good sense) for one marzen lager at the bar (tasty and refreshing), and tried none of their food, I can’t rate their beer or food. However, as a place to hang out, either inside—open but small enough to seem cozy, or outside on the patio overlooking The Common, it rates a 5.

Beautiful & bright space serving delicious draft beer. You can buy snacks here, but we were allowed to bring our outside takeout to eat at the bar. The upstairs bar was a lot louder & more lively, but the downstairs bar was much more low-key & peaceful; a perfect place to decompress after our Museum of Science trip.

Absolutely loved the Rabbit Rabbit double IPA. My wife and I also had a charcuterie board that was excellent!

Atmosphere is great, staff is super nice, not a fan of the beer. I’ve tried 5-6 of their beers and never all that impressed. Come back for the atmosphere and convenience.

Great addition to the Cambridge area. They have some non alcoholic kombucha too for those that don’t like beer

Super cute space and great beer selection. We did two of their pre-chosen flights, which usually isn't my favorite, but their combinations were great. They were all out of their pumpkin beer but offered some great substitutes.
