Coffee from people who care!! Great place. Good roaster. Coffee and cappuccinos are great. Mood is cool. Parking can be a pain in winter, but it is worth it to go around the block to find a spot. “Traditional” cappuccinos served in handle-less ceramics can change your perspective. The vessel can matter as much as the content. Hard to ever drink a cappuccino in a to-go cup after having them at DreamCloud.

Their latte was fantastic and the people were wonderful. Although my stay there was short, I really enjoyed the vibe, like an artsy studio apartment / small museum with well curated decor, surrounded by wooden accents throughout the cafe. Only if I lived closer, I would bring my laptop to work there a few times a week. I got to talk to the owner a bit who sounded so passionate about making coffee and serving the community. Highly recommended.

Was waiting on my family and needed to kill some time in downtown Duluth. Searched on Google for a local coffee shop and found this place. Good coffee and adorable atmosphere. They even did latte art in my to go cup 😍 love all the books and couches to sit and visit on, definitely want to go back.

It was immediately apparent that Dream Cloud was something special once you walk in. The atmosphere and aesthetic they've created is so unique, that it truly stands out from other coffee shops. The owners, Charlie and Emily, were incredibly friendly and know their stuff when talking coffee, it's clear they have a true passion for it. My wife and I both tried items off their seasonal menu and they were both fantastic. (House made syrups what's not to love?) I'll be recommending Dream Cloud to anyone I know visiting Duluth. My only complaint is that I don't live close enough to go there regularly, until next time!

I have been a loyal and frequent supporter to this coffee shop location since 2014 when it was Mocha Moose, so I have lots of history with the space and the previous owners. We locals have been anticipating the launch of the newly named Dream Cloud Coffee, which was established in Duluth, MN, and is now in the old Mocha Moose building.

What Owners Emily and Charlie have done to re-design the space is truly amazing. It felt almost French modern with some comfy wood furnishings combined with a contemporary feel. The space feels larger even though they didn't move any walls (mostly), and the mostly communal seating has be relegated to the adjoining room, which allows for lots of space for people to comfortably place their orders without falling on top of each other. The space is bright and vibrant, yet cozy, and individuals can still sit on fun bar stools along the front window. Emily's lovely photos decorate the walls, and the bakery case was filled with yummy homade baked goods, including three types of cake doughnuts.

Their coffee drinks are priced like most of the coffee shops in the area, and the baked goods seemed a bit spendy, yet worth the money. I am not sure if they will be offering other food items or if this will be more like a coffee shop and bakery. They also roast their own bean, apparent by the roaster installed in the adjacent room, adding to the ambiance of the space. Emily and Charlie were the only 'employees', and they are both super friendly, with great service and positive energy. Charlie also does pottery, which is available for purchase, along with Emily's photos. I am guessing for artists like me, this will no longer be a business for local artists to sell their creations.

Keep in mind, they have a later morning opening time than what we were used to by previous owners (10 am to 4 pm), so if you are an early riser and want coffee, you will have to seek out other options. And they are only open Friday through Sunday, so keep that in mind if you are traveling from outside the area as I know many found the Mocha Moose to be a regular stop traveling to and from the North Shore. And maybe these are their roll-out times and days as maybe they will adjust their hours in the future. There is still seating in the outside deck, too, which is wonderful.

Those who joined me during my visit are also locals, and we are all excited that the coffee shop is open again. I highly recommend you stop in! I wish them the greatest success!

Super cute spot! This is the best decorated coffee shop I’ve been to in Duluth. Cozy, dreamy, and comfortable. I got the hot chocolate and it wasn’t quite as chocolatey as I would’ve wanted but I’d definitely go back to try something more creative.

I’m going to venture to say definitely the best coffee shop in Minnesota. Be sure to stop by when you pass Duluth. The quality of coffee all the way from roasted bean to finish cup is impeccable. The atmosphere is great, good layout, nice decor, smells great, well designed menus, good furniture, and home made pottery cups. Which are simply beautiful and very satisfying to drink out of. And if you aren’t excited about coffee, they have their own line of teas and tea concoctions with wonderful flavors. To top it all off the community is warm and wholesome and the owners are great. Really can’t go wrong!

I’ve had some of the most unique and delicious coffee drinks at Dreamcloud! Can’t wait till they open in spring up the shore. Planning to drive there often!

Dream Cloud Coffee Roasters is more than a coffee/ tea shop... it's an experience. This place is a MUST VISIT if you are in the Duluth area. From the moment you walk in the beautiful space you are immersed in the peaceful ambience that has been cultivated there. Emily and Charlie are the friendliest people you will ever meet, and they go the extra mile to ensure you have exactly what you need.

Now for the coffee and tea... not only are all of the products of exceptional quality and served in the cutest drinkware... but the menu is so creative. The lemon guava iced chai is no joke the best thing I have ever had from a coffee shop. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Wonderful spot, great coffee made with care. I had a Kenya pour over and the next day an Ethiopian pour over. My wife had a jam latte which was very good. A must stop when we are in Duluth.

Gorgeous location and the coffee was very high quality. We went on a Saturday morning and they had live music! A genuine 5-star place.

I’m new to Duluth, and visited DCC roasters today. I returned to the US from Vietnam, which has a rich coffee culture (both local coffee and Italian style), and where they take their coffee brewing seriously. The coffee I had today was the best I’ve had since I’ve been back in the US, and would not have been out of place in a high-end Hanoi coffee shop. Delicious. I recommend!

This place is absolutely astounding! I am a huge coffee person and the cup of coffee I got at Dream Cloud was one of the best coffees I've ever had. It was smooth, frothy, and delicious. Will for sure being going here again.

Cafe has a very low key vibe that's cozy. The staff are amazing and super friendly!

The espresso is fantastic. I've only ever had their espresso over ice because that's what I do. The espresso has an inherently sweet yet also acidic flavor. I get mine over ice with a splash of half and half. The addition of half and half could be a teeny bit more but it's fine. A couple of the times that I've gone there there has been a dog which is always a nice addition. The atmosphere is interesting. If you're looking for a cozy place with people generally wearing a septum piercing, then this is the place for you. The coffee itself is a huge draw and the location though lacking parking is in beautiful downtown Duluth.

This place is so comforting and makes for a great start to the morning. I loved the local art for sale and the friendly staff. Will become a go-to when I'm in town!

Super cute coffee and tea shop. I got the Cortado, and if you like the taste of espresso with milk, I would highly recommend. Would definitely come back!

Definitely love this little coffee shop. My first time being in there, and I was treated very nicely as they helped me find something. Very delicious cappuccino and a very cute shop I loved the art and furniture. Definitely check them out
