Big Jim's Restaurant

This restaurant is a good place to eat and relax. I had fried shrimp, fries, hush puppies, and slaw. I was not hungry when I left. However, my waitress didn't refill my drink. I had to walk up to the bar and ask for a refill. Other than that, I was very pleased 😀.

The oysters with Cajun season and butter were amazing 👏. The service was great.

We enjoyed the food and atmosphere! They were very accommodating for a party of 8 this past Saturday evening! I would love to visit here in the summer time!

We eat and hang out at this place every time we come down for tournaments. They always take care of us and food is on point! Make sure you sign a bill staple it near your table.

Food on buffet was great, people friendly. Peach cobbler and fried shrimp were terrific.

What a unique place. First and foremost, my food was delicious. But the unique thing about this place is that for 45 years, patrons have been affixing dollar bills to the walls and supports. So cool to see.

TATER KEGS are worth it! An evening of motor-boatin' on the Spring Creek with the sweetheart had turned into a mad dash to Big Jim's Restaurant on lake Seminole for those awesome tater kegs when our originally planned meal didn't go so well. After one call for a pick-up order was placed and a 30 minute jon boat ride, we had in our possession of what I would describe a few bites of heaven. Since no one has to my knowledge taken an actual image of heaven, I didn't either. You'll have to go get it yourself. Ha!

Came highly recommended by a long time local and he was right on the mark. Was greeted very pleasantly by our waitress Marissa who immediately took our beverage orders and supplied menus. Marissa returned quickly with drinks and took our appetizer order. Decided on fried pickles and loaded tater tots which did not disappoint. Large orders of both arrived quickly, hot out of the kitchen. Marissa continually checked in on us for beverage refills and then placed our orders for dinner. Buffalo wings were huge drumsticks and very tasty. Coconut shrimp dinner (10 nice sized shrimp cooked to perfection) with fries, coleslaw and hush puppies were more than I could eat. Another meal for tomorrow :)
Marissa was apologetic about our dinners not coming out sooner. It was an on and off rainy day so we were in no hurry to go anywhere. Just wanted to chill and savor our food. Towards the end of our meal, to our surprise, Marissa arrived with four piping hot California cinnamon churros topped with fresh cream and drizzled lightly with maple syrup-on the house-to make up for the dinner delay(which we really felt was not too long). This dinner experience was amazing for a local restaurant/motel/rv park/grocery store, boat launch, on the water at Seminole Lake. Will definitely be back to try some other items on the menu. Good waitresses are hard to find and look forward to another very pleasant experience with Marissa.

Awesome ambiance on the lake after a sunny day on the water! The burgers are great and the seafood is even better!

We love this place, we come here all the time when my husband does his fishing tournaments and pre fishing. They are all super nice and the owners Family are the kindest people. They are super accommodating and always helpful. The rooms are clean in their little strip every time we go. Very nice family run business. We really love it.

The food was good in all different directions. One person got the tomahawk chop, said it was amazing. Another got the catfish nuggets and loved them. I got the loaded fries and pepper poppers, both were very good. I would definitely recommend to people in the area!

A large screened in building tucked under many shade trees right by the lake, so a lot of folks arrive via boat. You have the breeze off the lake along with the many mounted fans, so it's a comfortable southern setting. We were with friends so it was a fun night. Our servers were super attentive. Our drinks were kept full. The food is made to order so be prepared to wait as this is not fast-food. I recommend and Will be back.

Fast service and friendly atmosphere. Please ask for waitress Jennifer. She does a awesome job taking care of you and your family. They are running specials right now. Buy their new cups and get your 2nd mixed drink refill for a penny! Awesome Deal! Buffalo shrimp basket was great! We went in late to meet a couple of my husband friend and family. We sat and the server was very kind. She came on over asked if we was eating which we had already ate. We ordered something to drink and some cheese sticks which was great. Our friends food came out and it all looked really good and I do want to go back just so I can get what my husband friend got.
