Sound Park

Absolutely love love love this place. Playground was great and fenced in. My husband got to skate and we went early in the morning and we were the only people ones there. There was a deep pool and a smaller one with jumps . Men and women’s bathroom and soccer fields. Lots of other open space for playing . Definitely will come back next time we visit

This park was a much needed public space for gatherings and events, as well as the Southern-most public boat ramp just before the Wright Memorial Bridge. This park boasts many amenities such as 2 baseball/softball fields as well as large fields for soccer/frisbee or other field-based sports. It also has 2 pavillions with aging grills (bring your own) for family gatherings, 2 tennis courts, an enclosed playground and a skatepark. The skateboard park, however, has become riddled with graffiti and lewd pictures. It's not surprising, though. Don't bring your children to the skatepark for a wholesome experience as you will not find one. This park has plenty of parking for all the amenities as well as two boat-launching ramps into the water. There is also a long dock to tender your boat and fill it up with people and/or supplies while the truck and trailer can be parked in extra long parking space just for this reason. My family has hosted family reunions at this location for softball games and events over the past decade.
Overall, it's a terrific place for gatherings, minus the unacceptable graffiti on the skatepark - but we once we're all rebellious. No better way to 'stick it to the man' with a visual FU. :)

Restrooms, playground, soccer fields, covered picnic areas, walking trail, and a boat ramp (currently under reconstruction) . The skate park portion is popular. Great sunrise views.

Really nice park..except bathrooms were closed..not sure why..hope it's not a season thing..becuz we play all year..lol

They just installed a huge equipment upgrade, we loved it plus their is a ton of space for the kiddos to ride bikes and skateboards!!

We love this park and they keep making it better!

So quiet and peaceful best park ever

Super fun for kids and great if you play Pokemon go. 6 pokestops and 3 gyms. Love jumping off the docs and swimming in the sound on a hot summer day, just be careful of the boats obviously. Good free fun for summer time.

If you are the next tony hawk or shaun white you probably won’t like this park… but it’s great for my kids and I. There is almost never anyone there when I go. Tons of space.

A nice set-up. Easy to get your boat in and out of the water.

Seems like a great park but the boat ramp is closed for construction.

Very nice park with two boat ramps, pavilions, tennis, skate-boarding, hiking paths, you name it. It was a great place to stop for a picnic lunch although sadly the sound was too rough to launch a boat.

Boat ramp is shallow, but usable. Great picnic shelter and skate park.

Went for church picnic,got my times mixed up and missed the picnic.The park is very nice boat ramp and piers.Handy cap bathrooms,ball fields, soccer field.Go and enjoy.Forgot they have scateboard section.No cost,you might be able to reserve a spot with roof over your head.No walls or windows.

Beautiful, safe and clean family park. Has excellent parking space, beautiful fields for playing ball, safety measures are taken appropriately and the cleanliness is excellently maintained.

Great place to bring the family. Tennis, skateboard, swings, grills, tables and a place to play ball all there for you. Not to mention you're right on the Sound.
