The Habit Burger Grill

A great place to stop for a great hamburger. I always order the grilled chicken sandwich with bbq sauce. This Habit is just off I-5 and HWY 99 merger at El Tejón Outlets. It’s located on the east side of the freeway. Plenty of parking space and easy in but a little tricky to get back to the freeway due to lack of signage. Clean all the way around and great service. Outdoor eating options and there is a shopping outlet close by if you are into making time for shopping.

Great tasting burgers that you can customize however you want, I like how they show it up front that they’re grilling them. They’re a bit pricey for fast food, but the quality is really worth it.

As a trucker who frequently parks across the street at the TA, I can confidently say that The Habit Burger Grill offers the best prices for the quality of food in the area. After trying numerous fast food joints nearby, I’ve found that their non-filling combos don’t compare to the satisfying meals here. The food quality is exceptional, and to top it off, the restrooms were clean. Highly recommend here to my fellow truckers as well. You or your gut the following morning won’t be disappointed!

Visited here for lunch. Ordered Crispy Chicken Sandwich on Sourdough and Veggie burger with parmesan garlic fries. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Food was pretty good, specially fries. Service was quick and place was well maintained.

I am sure I would stop by here in my next drive on I-5. I found this Habit Burger Grill spot in the Tejon outlets at Arvin just before the Grapevine climb. The food is delicious and the fries were crispy. This place has a drive thru, so you can order burgers on the go. There is enough seating for small and large groups. The interior is well lit and with the rush of people, they seem to be pretty good at handling the line. At the peak, you would just be waiting for less than 10 minutes in line to order. They do have pickles and marinated chilies to garnish your food. The Tempura Green beans is a must try. They have options for vegetarian and vegan too. The orders seem to be fast moving and the kitchen is keeping well at the pace in getting out food on time.

I ate here on the evening of March 4th. Staff were very helpful in helping me find wonderful tasty food that was safe for me to eat given my food wheat and dairy allergies. The food was absolutely
great and the service was exceptional. It is very rare for me to find a restaurant that understands food allergies and has plenty of wonderful options especially in the fast food industry.

Another great lunch. I had the Santa Barbara Char and my wife had the Santa Barbara cobb salad. Both burger and salad were larger than most other places and with a side of crispy onion rings and root beer our meal was complete. This restaurant also offers a drive thru in case you have to get going. Easy access on and off interstate 5. Good job!

My family and I came in at around 10PMish to eat and rest during our road trip. The restaurant was slightly crowded, and there was just a small line. The worker that took our order was quick and kind. We ordered some fountain drinks, onion rings, a charburger, a chicken club, and the Santa Barbra char. The drink station is self-serve, and from there, you can grab a variety of condiments. The wait wasn't super long, but I wouldn't say it was quick. We were dining in, and our booth was clean, and the atmosphere was nice. I had the Santa Barbra char, which I thought was alright. The patty was a bit too sodium heavy for my taste, but to each their own and it's American food, so what can I expect😅. However, I had a bite of the chicken club, and I definitely liked that better. The avocado really complimented the chicken in the chicken club, which I preferred in terms of taste compared to the Santa Barbara's avocado and patty combo. My sibling had the charburger, and similar to me, he said that the burger was good, but the saltiness of the patty was also a bit much for him. All of us could agree that the onion rings were awesome, though! The onion rings are a good size, fried to perfection, and super crispy. I would definitely recommend them. Overall, it was a nice place to stop by, and I'd love to try what else they have to offer next time.

So I went to the Habit burger because of all the hype and I thought it was worth the wait. Be prepared to wait a long friggin time to get to order in the drive thru. I order the Char Burger with the sourdough bread change. It was scrumptious, they gave me ranch for my sweet potato fries in the bag, really tasty. A really cute diner!

The burgers here are made fresh and you can tell by the taste. The fries were hot and crispy all the way down to the last one. Very friendly service inside and condiment area. Too full from the combo to get dessert. The Oreo shake looks amazing. Well worth checking out!

I was just there this morning with my mom and daughter and Jazmin the manager attended us with amazing customer service and was super helpful 🥰 it’s rare nowadays to go into a restaurant and get both great customer service and food and definitely will be going back ☺ this location is super clean. The food is super fresh and the employees there are just amazing.Sadly this picture of our food does no justice for how amazing it tasted and looked in person 🥲

God blessed the hands that grilled our chicken. Outstanding food and service. Eating this chicken drenched me in a world of flavour. Please be careful eating this chicken while driving, not for the inexperienced roadtripper. THIS IS THE AMERICAN DREAM. Wouldnt expect anything less from the Bakersfield Habit near the outlet mall. THESE ARE TRUE PROFESSIONALS.

We enjoyed the BBQ Bacon Char, Santa Barbara Char, and the chocolate shake. They are very tasty and we are looking forward to returning for more.

Jacki and Cristina are a great example of going above and beyond customer service expectations my family and I where driving back from LA and stop here it was our first time since we came in we got eye contact and smiles. This two ladies are awesome because of them will continue to eat at Habitt Burger. I don't remember the gentleman name but we were going sit at a dirty table and he offered to clean it. Over experience greatly

Great burgers. The tempura green beans a nice surprise as an option. I'd never eaten at this restaurant chain before. It's surprisingly good.

There were a few things that needed to be done to make the bathroom truly and fully accessible for mobility limited customers . I share the relevant information to the on duty manager, who attentively noted the information to share later with their general manager.
