Gulf Breeze Bait and Tackle

I was passing through town for work and found myself with some extra time on my hands, and the fine folks at Gulf Breeze Bait & Tackle set me up with a rental and everything I needed to get into some fish! Everyone was super helpful and I would highly recommend them.

Super friendly staff and lots of gear for a smaller bait shop! Definitely will continue to visit this place when im back in town.

This is a MUST stop for any fisherman going to the ocean. They have everything you need, very friendly, and good prices.

Nice! I could get in trouble with all the stuff they have. Alot of stuff. Any bait, rode, weight, net.... or any gear you can think of. Perfect little shrimp for bait.

We were able to stop in and rent fishing poles. The staff was super helpful they gave us tips on where to go fish and let us know different local places. We had an amazing time there fishing poles were brand new high class and very affordable!

Amazing shop. Not only is there great prices on some high end gear, they fixed the tip of my rod for 13$ in less than 10 minutes.

Prices of tackle (swivels, hooks, etc were all very reasonable and cheaper actually than bass pro).

Small shop with a lotta stuff. I like the way the entire staff is helpful and the reasonable prices. They’re located in the heart of the action, but manage to maintain very budget friendly prices while maintaining a large inventory of what we all need. The store is certainly worth the time for a visit.

Was in Pensacola beach for a week. The folks here offered great advice, had a well stocked shop. I was probably there 3 times that week. Bought a rod, reel, some tackle, some stickers, frozen, and fresh bait. Thanks for the help. I will go back the next time I am down there!

Great fishing choices & nice folks!

I was extremely impressed with the staff's helpfulness as I shopped for a new rig and tackle. Everybody was very accommodating, gave me all of the information that I needed to make an educated decision call my vision, and was very helpful and insightful. I will most definitely return to purchase gear there, rather than hitting the big box stores.

We are short term seasonal rental folks in Gulf Breeze. A neighbor informed us of GB Bait and Tackle. Upon entering the store, you notice it’s not an average tackle shop. It’s a very well stocked tackle shop! They have limited floor space but have made good use of stocking inventory for various fishing needs. The prices are surprisingly in line with box stores and online shopping. The young in age staff is not to be under-estimated of their stock, stock location, and knowledge of products.
They are appreciative of your business and are familiar with a term Not heard as much lately “thank you”. Recommend shopping there.

Was here on business, but went fishing after work. Great store to buy bait and anything else you need. A friend bought a new rig for saltwater fishing, it was cheaper than Cabela's online price. Normally in a tourist town that would never happen. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. That's my store when I'm in town now.

Well Stocked bait shop. Was surprised that they had fly tying materials.

This place deserves the 5 star rating because when I went here I went over my budget of 50 but the guy at the counter gave me one of the lures for free, what a legend.This place also has everything you could need for saltwater fishing or crabing.

Very convenient location. Great variety of fishing stuff to choose from, great quality bait. It was better when they used to be open real late though.

Been here three times, all three times the staff was incredibly unfriendly. Just walked out and am posting the review from the parking lot because I am so disappointed in the service. I went in trying to get a few things, was going to spend a fair amount of money, but now am heading to Outcast where I have had wonderful experiences. First time in my wife left the store due to the rude staff. It’s unfortunate because this could be a awesome place to visit weekly for supplies.

Edit*. Been back multiple times since writing this review. Staff and management have sure done a turn around. I have spent a good amount of money in this establishment now and I am editing to a better star review. They have really been wonderful now every time.
