Build-A-Bear Workshop

I recently visited Build-A-Bear with my daughter, and I have to say, it was a phenomenal experience that exceeded all expectations. Every moment was filled with joy and excitement, creating memories that we'll cherish forever.

From the minute we stepped into the store, it was clear that it was going to be more than just about building a teddy bear; it was about crafting a personal and special moment. The variety of options and activities engaged my daughter's imagination and brought an endless smile to her face. She absolutely loved each step of the process, putting her heart into her creation.

What truly set this experience apart was Andie, the staff member who assisted us. Andie was not just doing a job; she was spreading happiness and sharing in the magic of the moment with my daughter. Our visit to Build-A-Bear for my child's 1st birthday was truly magical. Not only did they offer us a special $1 birthday bear, but the entire experience was unforgettable. We enjoyed selecting clothes for our new furry friend, creating lasting memories together.

Terrible experience! My daughter had a bear made in another shop (Pembroke Pines) and now the son wanted to get one, too. Went to the Dania Pointe store as it was closer, but what a disappoitment it was. Staff was not appreciative at all and unfriendly to the extent that my 11 year old told me he wanted to leave and rather not get his bear. Asked the staff a question on the heart-beat heart than can be added to the bear and she scrambled a used item out of a drawer. I asked for a new one, i.e., one that did not have the band that protects battery pulled already and she said they always come like that. What a surprise, as we had just pulled the band out of the heart that was put into the daughter's bear a day before - or in other terms, she lied to me to make me shut up and buy the bear. Left without a bear and with a totally disapointed child. My recommendation to the staff: If you don't like to be with clients or well-behaved kids, get another job! My recommendation to shoppers: Go to the Pembroke Pines store, staff there is awesome and gives the kids the feeling that building their bear is something special to them.
