Cafe Antigua

Great small local spot. Really good lattes and food. Fast service too!!

I got the chilaquiles. Meat was juicy, salsa flavorful and really great quality tortilla chips. The rice and beans were also super good, well seasoned. Me and the hubby ended up splitting some churros too. Very fresh, filled with some kinda Carmel and very crunchy.

The place wasn't super busy, we got sat down right away. Very clean.

I used to go to Cafe Antigua often when I was living in OKC. It has been a while since I've last visited but they've grown quite a bit. It's quite evident with the longer wait we've had when compared to years ago when the crowd was much smaller. Kudos to their success.

The food is still delicious but I think it has shed its small family owned feel to more of a trendy dining spot. Not necessarily a bad thing but I do remember they used to have unlimited house coffee but I didn't see it on the menu this time. The upgraded coffee cafe looked really nice and I'll have to revisit it to try it.

Regardless, you'll find authentic Guatemalan food here and highly recommend this place.

We tried Cafe Antigua on a whim and we're glad we did! The coffees were delicious, the brunch options were unique, and the portion sizes were generous. The service was also top-notch. Highly recommended!

We had the Migas and the Machaca omelet—both were incredible.

For coffee: a vanilla dirty chai (SO GOOD) 🤤 and a red eye (on the menu as “Shot in the Dark”). Usually a red eye can have a bit of a bitter taste. This one didn’t at all, super smooth and flavorful.

Pro tip: If you’re visiting on the weekend, get it before 9:30, when they start getting busy. Don’t miss this place!

Best chilaquiles I have ever had! Probably even the best breakfast I have ever had. Hands down will come here every time I return to OKC. My daughter had the puffle and my mother in law and husbands aunt had the churros. Everything was delicious, I highly recommend trying them out!

This is authentic Mexican food at its best, not tex mex. The black refried beans have this amazing seasoning that amps up the flavor and makes you want them to be never-ending. I have the breakfast burrito, it is sharable and humongous and with sour cream and their special Verde sauce you cannot go wrong. I also ordered Horchata and Himica, both were good.

We planned to vista cafe cacao first but their wait was 2 hours for 2 people. So we decided to give a try to this place. We were sat promptly, our server suggested a few dishes. Everything we try was delicious and my husband ordered the mazapán latte, was super yummy.

This is my favorite place to get breakfast or brunch! I’ve been a regular here for many years and always receive excellent service and delicious food! Food always gets to the table quickly, even on busy days! The employees there work hard! Shout out to Carlos who I’ve seen working here many years, I’m always impressed with his great attitude and how quickly and efficiently he works!

Amazing restaurant! I cannot wait to come back again, and with more people! Being Guatemalan, this is LEGIT!

Started off with a complimentary bowl of lentil soup! So good! Enjoyed some coffee while talking with my friend, no pressure from the waiter to order fast. I really appreciated that!

Food came out quickly too once we ordered, and we came around 1130 for lunch. The verde salsa is phenomenal! This place brought me back to my roots and made me miss my mom and dads cooking!

Impressive! 🌟 I was initially hesitant about trying Guatemalan cuisine in Oklahoma, but relying on the positive Google reviews was a great decision. This place exceeded my expectations!

We savored the Pork Adobada and the Longoniza smothered burrito, both of which were incredibly delightful. However, the smothered burrito stood out with its perfectly balanced flavors. I must mention that the burrito's size is impressive – it could easily satisfy two people.

Don't miss out on their coffee selection! If you're a coffee lover, I highly recommend trying their spicy mocha cafe. It offers just the right amount of warmth and a delightful cinnamony mocha flavor.

A special shout-out to Carlos, our outstanding server. His exceptional service, along with the entire staff's hospitality, truly made our brunch experience wonderful.

We randomly Cafe Antigua from Google and we were not disappointed. It has a nice ambience and beautifully decorated. The waitress "Angeles" was amazing and communication skills are out of this world. The portions are huge and the taste is out of this world. The food is fresh and skillfully prepared. Keep up the good work. You guys rock!!! Btw.... they sell coffee beans as well. Do try it. 😁

The waiter recommended the breakfast burrito and it was amazing! Will be going back for sure!

⏰ There was about a 40 minute wait this morning BUT the food only took like 5 minutes (literally) to come out once we got seated.

🤤 The Food & the service was great (like always) & I'll definitely be back. I'll just have to make sure it's during the week when it's a little less busy.

The bustling atomosphere and uniquely delectable dishes makes this place a "must eat" when passing through Oklahoma. Kudos to the chef and wait staff for making this place amazing.

One of the places you have to try if you are visiting OKC! Inviting and quick service. Food that is rich with flavor and a coffee menu that has so many good options. I needed some caffeine so I went with a Shot in the Dark. Combination of Guatemalan coffee and a shot of espresso. I was also really hungry and went with the Mayan Eggs! I try something new every and have yet to be disappointed. Everything is so tasty! Enjoy!

Nice breakfast place. Each table was divided by a tall acrylic panel and we felt very safe. We visited here in early morning on Sunday and the meals were served quickly. The staff was very mindful and nice. We ordered extra meals for the friends arriving late. The meals were served but sitting on the table for a while. The waiter came to us and asked if he can reheat the meal since he didn’t like to serve cold meals. So sweet. We’ll be back.

OMG sooooo delicious! Portion size was shocking! 😂 Not disappointed at all.

Update: I came to write another positive review, not knowing I had already! This place is always really delicious. The staff is always incredibly friendly and very attentive. I love their coffees, and limeade. Everything is just delicious!

We went on Sunday morning of Labor Day weekend for a low key anniversary brunch. They told us the wait was about 30-40 minutes but we only ended up waiting about 10 minutes. Carlos was our server and he was great. He recommend some great dishes as for this was our first time. The food was absolutely amazing. I feel like they could spruce the place up a bit. But overall the food was amazing and we would definitely go back. Highly recommend!

Man... It's been a while since I had a good burrito! Just look at the video I posted.... The burrito was the size of a football.
