Immaculate Conception Catholic Church

Love it. I go here when visiting Alexandria. The Preist has given a few a great homilies (Sermons) about the Love of Jesus and the importance of the faith. Also, the parishioners were very welcoming. Out of all the Catholic Churches in the area, I like this one best!

The Sheppard is truly amazing. The music is outstanding.

The service was beautiful and the spiritual message was delivered beautifully.

Love it and convince too for alot of people.

How does one rate a church?
All I can do is relate that I have attended funeral viewings or masses for relatives at this Church twice in the last 3 years, both of which were conducted in accordance with the wishes of the deceased.
The church itself is aesthetically pleasing, having been recently renovated to match its early to mid twentieth century appearance.
In contrast to the associated Catholic Church in nearby Alexandria, which has a decidedly 'modern' architectural style, Immaculate Conception clearly looks like a small town Church from an era where one's denomination was an important indication of one's place in the social hierarchy.
I suspect that the demographics of its parishioners means that it will unfortunately be more familiar to those attending funerals than other church celebrations.
