This has to be the best little restaurant / ice cream shop. The atmosphere is adorable and the service is the very best. The ice cream is delicious plus the Mexican food is very good. There's just a lot of unique items in the store and it's a fun place to go. I wouldn't miss this place especially if you have a hankering for ice cream. Be careful there's a girl in there who's the best salesman and she'll get you to purchase extra ice cream. Which isn't a bad thing. LoL she's adorable and very helpful.

Clean, reasonably priced, great food, friendly service, and many food and entertainment options. See a movie and eat popcorn and Candy; have ice cream and sodas; eat a delicious Mexican meal… What a great business for the Mackay community and its visitors!

This place is so cute and has AMAZING service! The cute family that runs this store are so friendly and helpful. The prices were so reasonable! We got the Mount Borra ice cream. It was LOTS of ice cream that we shared with the group, it was tasty and fun!

this place is awesome!! i don’t live in mackay, im only visiting, and this is my favorite place i’ve been to by far. the servings were large and worth the price, and it was delicious. i was a little worried about mexican food being made in the north, but they nailed it in my eyes. chips were good, my sister and i ate great. there was a big selection of italian sodas. the people (family i assume) who worked here are super sweet and i really enjoyed my time here. i saw a little boy bussing tables, it felt so authentic. i’m definitely gonna want to come back here when i visit annually! i love this place so much.

You HAVE to stop here for ice cream just to see this family at work! Their 8 children are all working hard and providing excellent customer service! The prices are low, the Mexican food is delicious. My brownie sundae was half gone before I remembered to take a photo.

The staff was amazing and fun. Looks to be a wonderfully family run business.

🍦 Scoops is a great little ice cream shop in town, located inside an old theater! 🎭 The ambiance is nostalgic, and the decor preserves the theater's charm. Plenty of flavors 🍨 Huckleberry is one of my favorites. The combination of sweet treats and vintage surroundings makes this place a must-visit! 😍

Small little restaurant they serve sodas and ice cream. They also serve Mexican food such as burritos and nachos. I had the tamales, and they were great. Service was excellent. Small town feeling and friendly people.

Wonderful place! Highly recommend. We stopped here after hiking Mt Borah and it was perfect! Delicious ice cream, and Mexican food. For sure a must when you are headed by MacKay. Thank you so much.

Loved the entire experience. The smothered tamales were delicious and the ice cream nachos divine. And we enjoyed talking to the owner as she took our order. Will definitely go again!

The food, service, and atmosphere was AMAZING! Scoops is a cool small town restaurant. They have a large variety of ice cream and Italian sodas. I highly recommend the sweet pork!

So great to see such a wonderful family working together so hard to make such great food. Hands down best Mexican food around. My daughters and I always look forward to going to Scoops. If you haven't been you gotta check it out.

Very impressed with this family owned business. Myself and 5 of my friends dined there recently and both the Mexican food and the ice cream were excellent. The most impressive thing about Scoops is the customer service, it’s prompt and friendly. Highly recommend.

Scoops Corner Café is a wonderful little ice cream shop! It was the perfect stop after hiking to Lower Cedar Creek falls. They have excellent customer service with a smile and the entire shop was exceptionally clean. I highly recommend stopping by for a treat. They also have a selection of Italian cream sodas, milkshakes, espresso drinks, pastry treats, and Mexican food!

Fantastic experience at this new gem in downtown Mackay, ID! Wonderful staff, delicious tacos (get the spicy and sweet pork if you're in the mood for something different) and off the charts cheesecake! I look forward to our next visit and can't wait to go to the revitalized movie theater next door!! Scoops owns both☺
