Took my son to get his first skates here, staff was knowledgeable and helped my son understand the whole process. He had his skates custom fitted and said they are the most comfortable ones he has ever worn.

We've been shopping at Abby Sports Zone for years now. We drive out from Vancouver, as they have the best selection, great staff, and great pricing. Don't waste your time at the big box stores. Shop local and get the best fit, selection and pricing in the lower mainland. Can't say enough about these guys.

Recently went in to Sports Zone to buy ice skates. The staff was very friendly and dedicated their time and effort to ensure I left with the best fitting skate possible within my budget. Would definitely recommend.

Stopped in for a new helmet after being ignored by the sportchek staff. I was helped promptly and Marty(?) was super helpful in pointing out the different tiers and types of helmets/cages ect. I also ended up unexpectedly getting a new pair of skates which were heat baked to my feet! Great service and I would definitely go back. Thanks!

Wow! I thought this was just a skate/hockey shop. Was I ever wrong! They carry so much more. Friendly and helpful staff and the prices are decent!

My son was in for new skates and received great service from Josh who listened to our needs, did a custom 3-D evaluation of my son’s feet and brought us a few options to consider.
Even at entry-level skates, Josh took the time to heat and properly mold the skates for my son.
And the cost was competitive with larger retailers.
Exceptional!

We went in to Sports Zone tonight to get our little guy fitted out for a full set of toddler hockey gear and despite being incredibly busy the customer service rep that helped us was phenomenal! My little guy got overwhelmed and had a complete meltdown in the store and he was so patient and kind and we were still able to get everything we needed! I can not recommend this place more!

Stopped by while we were in town to pick up some baseball gear. We were very impressed by the selection and deals on baseball and hockey equipment. Definitely the place for athletes to shop at!

Support your local sporting goods store. Very friendly and helpful staff. They carry hockey, lacrosse and baseball equipment. And offer skate sharpening as well. They now carry Biosteel. Your one stop shop!

Came in yesterday to find hockey skates, after not owning any for 5 years. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and I have been extremely picky about skate fit in the past. Staff members helped me for an hour while I tried on 5 or 6 different skates in different sizes. They were very patient and I never felt rushed. Eventually I picked a pair of CCM skates that I would have never tried if it wasn’t for the patience of the staff, as it was my last option. Skated on them today and they are by far the most comfortable skate I’ve ever skated in and I had zero discomfort or pain. I am very happy with my service and I will make sure to come back and support this business with my future hockey needs. As a final note, I budgeted $250 for skates and although the price was quite a bit higher they were understanding enough to cut me a small discount as a goodwill gesture. Cheers!

I usually get my skates sharpened here, they always do a great job, never have to wait long either!!

Shoutout to Joshua Lagunes and Sukhraj Tatla. Took the time to properly size me in skates and give me options. True professionals that know their stuff. Joel, the manager, was friendly and provided great customer service. I recommend SportsZone to anyone looking.
