Spectacular experience. This was mine and my husband’s first time here and we enjoyed every minute of it. We have visited majority of the top rated restaurants in St. Pete and Tampa, from fine dining, steakhouses, etc and this has definitey made our list of favourites. An absolute gem. The food is fresh, and full of flavor. The service was 10/10. Very friendly and professional. The atmosphere made me feel like I was in Europe and reminded me how much I miss it. Get the lobster ravioli and the gnocchi!

I don’t even know where to begin. The perfect dirty martini? The fresh baked bread with oil? The perfect crunch and burst of flavor from the grouper egg rolls? The rich flavor of the zuppa di mare?The perfection of the chicken parmigiana? Maybe the bold flavor of the desserts? Nope I’d say the service would be the most impressive. My only crime is not remembering my servers name. He made the experience just a delight. 10/10

Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is amazing and the service is as well. Tonight, my husband had the Tomahawk Veal Chop, and I had the Chilean Sea Bass, both were absolutely delicious. Our server, Alen, was such a great server, very friendly and professional. Perfect date night!

I was so pleasantly surprised by this place! Definitely will go there again. The food was amazing, desserts are more than amazing. I've been to many places in CW and Largo, but this one definitely is one of my favorite now! Not too crowded, you can actually hear yourself and talk freely. Pleasant staff. Try it out! You will not regret it.

We went for an early dinner to try this restaurant, and as foodies, per usual, we ordered bunch of different things on the menu. Calamari, Chopped Salad, Grilled Octopus, Tuna Stack and Pasta.
The food was phenomenal- but the grilled octopus is out of this world! So tender and delicious. It’s a must!
Atmosphere was so wonderful and relaxing with a lovely snow-white Xmas tree and a fire place. As a result we ended up having dessert and coffee - which isn’t our typical- because we just didn’t want to leave.
Service was top notch. The guy named Alen was so attentive - and not in that fake, overly nice, tip me kind of way.
Just overall experience was excellent and we are definitely going back.

First time and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the salmon and I ordered lamb chops. The flavors were amazing and the owner is a gem! I’ll be back soon!

What a cute and quaint spot! We were greeted immediately and taken to a table right away. The exceptional service continued throughout the night and the food was very tasty as well! A very nice family-owned establishment that we are looking forward to visiting again soon ☺

To our server, Alan, thank you for your professionalism and authenticity. Our meal was exceptionally delicious. We had 3 appetizers: calamari steak, beef carpaccio, & grouper egg rolls - OMG, all to-die-for-melt-in-your-mouth! Husband had to the Daily News seafood special, I had the penne with porcini mushrooms & sausage - we both ate the whole thing. Topped it off with the Croatian house dessert which I cannot pronounce, but it was incredible and we ate all of that too. I can’t believe this wonderful restaurant is 5 minutes from our home, we will be back very soon! Ambiance is classy and relaxed as well. Love!

Phenomenal new restaurant! The food, the atmosphere, and the service are all beyond outstanding! The bread was very flavorful without even dipping it, the calamari had the best breading I’ve had in the US, and my seafood linguine was sooo good. My wife loved her lamb, no one in the area except the other Daily News can make lamb as good as they do here. Tom, our waiter was amazing and took great care of us. Finally, my cheesecake was delicious! I can’t say enough good things about Daily News Restaurant!! You will not be disappointed eating here!!

Wonderful dinner! Amazing flavor and terrific service. This menu and environment is a whole new experience for Daily News and is very different from their other location. This is absolutely the best restaurant in Largo and rivals any top rated restaurant in all of Pinellas County.

The Grilled Octopus is one of the best I ever had anywhere, if not the best. Tender and grilled perfectly.

The Chicken Parmigiana was a pan fried delight with a light and crispy full flavored breading and moist chicken interior, complimented by home made potatoes and fresh vegetables.

The Rigatoni al la vodka sauce. Wow! The best I ever had anywhere in the country. I have eaten at many Italian and Italian inspired places, even in New York's Little Italy and Boston's North End. This dish is the real thing. Compliments to the chef. The texture and flavor of this dish is beyond words. Just try it for yourself. It's a very hearty and pallette satisfying experience.

Eeyore's experience. 5 of 5 tail wags! Even a few days after eating here, it's satisfyingly memorable.

Took my wife there for her birthday. Great menu selection all very tasty. Our neighbors joined us and also enjoyed it. Great service from Alan who was very attentive
We have eaten there before and the food is consistently very good.

Went for Easter lunch with family. The atmosphere is beautiful, it felt like we were eating in someone's home! Service was fantastic! She could describe each of the dishes we asked about. We started with the grilled Octopus. It came out quickly and was fantastic!! It had obviously been marinated before being grilled and was very tender. I had the dry-aged pork chop (it was a special) with a wonderful sauce, truffle mashed potatoes, and vegetables. It was cooked perfectly and was really tasty! I ate the whole thing and wanted to gnaw on the bone like a dog, but I restrained myself! My wife had the pasta de mare special. It was linguine with a light sauce with mussels, classic, and other seafood and was so good. I would definitely go back!

The most cozy restaurant ever! The food was delicious, their house Merlot was just excellent.
If you have a sweet tooth I highly recommend the pistachio tart, but they have many other choices. All the staff were very pleasant. Definitely 10 stars.

WOW. We have been going for Christmas dinner for 15 years. We were steadfast at a Clearwater Beach landmark, which got ridiculously expensive, and an hour and half drive to there. We found the Daily News online, and got a great reservation time for us. What a discovery ! It was as good, or better than, any of the traditional restaurants by far ! The food was outstanding. Great Service. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Great decor. Easy location. We will be looking forward to dining there again soon !

If you’re looking for a new date night restaurant, look no further. Elegantly appointed dining rooms, professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff created the perfect atmosphere. The food was outrageously delicious, which really is the most important part. Our server, Alen, was courteous and helpful. Definitely try the octopus, it’s perfectly brined with just the right amount of char. We also had the lamb chops and ribeye, both were incredible and the bleu cheese truffle butter was a divine touch. As we finished off our meals with the best desserts we’ve had in some time, we were already checking our schedules for when we could come back.

This restaurant was great! Staff was friendly. Upscale food, warm and airy. Food was fabulous! Looking forward in trying the pizza next time. Update- tried the pizza and bruschetta both were very very good!! A must try 👌

Absolutely loved our first visit to the Daily News Restaurant. Tom kept us entertained, answered all our questions, & was a pleasure to have him serve us. All the staff was super friendly, chief made our meal amazing & the desserts, yes we did try them all, most was to die for! We "WILL" be coming back. If your looking for something new & different "this is" a must try! Thanks Tom for making our first time dining here a absolute pleasure!

Just added a picture of what we had, the lamb rack was amazing, I get all my meat rare I believe it's the best flavor, girlfriend had the lamb chop which was also good! Favorite of the desserts was tiramisu, pistachio cake, & the temptation cake! I love tiramisu, Girlfriend not so much but she liked the Daily News so much that had to split in half, which next time I know to get two of them!

Our waiter was excellent, very nice and knowledgeable. The food was excellent. We started with the grilled octopus, which was very different but very nice. The dinner entrees were all great. And they have an excellent selection of delicious desserts as well. Will definitely be going back!

Nice restaurant in Belleair. It was recommended to me by a Bosnian Uber driver in Chicago who said it was very authentic.

The thing I enjoyed the most was the genuine care and attention we received from the staff and we didn’t feel rushed.

The warm bread was divine but I certainly ate too much as I couldn’t take but a bite of my meal.

We ordered the burrata which was okay in my opinion, maybe needed more seasonings and oil / vinegar and the tomatoes were flavorless.

My friend got the shrimp and loved it. I had the risotto and short ribs and found to be a bit rich but it was tasty.

The thing I’d ask they change is using styrofoam containers for leftovers. And not every person needs a plastic bag. These items are horrible for the environment and the food absorbs the chemicals from the container. I didn’t eat the leftovers because of this. Please research better options (biodegradable or paper) and ditch the plastic bags as they are unnecessary.

Otherwise a lovely experience.
