5 stars all around. Excellent gluten-free selections. Great gluten-free breakfast sandwiches. Great gluten-free muffins and cookies. They even have a dog menu. The owners of this establishment care and are present and really active with their business, and it shows! Way to go, and good luck with your continued success.

Cute little cafe. Not dull, but not too loud either. Having ADHD and terrible anxiety, this is the perfect place for me to get a quick few work tasks done, and grab a bite. Fast, friendly, and helpful service.
Great coffee, smoothies, sandwiches & fresh bakery treats. Good balance of Restaurant / Cafe atmosphere/vibes. The other patrons also seemed etiquette conscious👌

This place never disappoint. Food is always good and the coffee, wow they have plenty to choose from. My wife suggests you try the Flan coffee (condense milk and caramel) flavor. The empanadas are always our go to but I decided to try the bacon egg and cheese this time around. Definitely a stop for those in the area.

Such a cute coffee shop! Upon entering you will see a few sofas and some tables inside as well as books and games. They have it set up so you can chill for a while after enjoying your delicious pastries!
Outside you will see quite a few tables set up in the shade to enjoy your coffee as well.

I decided to order the beef and green olive empanada. It was filled with beef, green olives and potatoes with a soft crust. I also ordered a vegan lemon blueberry muffin, which was also yummy and very moist. My favorite thing I ordered was the Iced Carmel Vanilla Latte with Almond milk, it's the beat dairy free latte I've had that isn't too sweet.

My husband ordered a burrito and a cafe con Leche. He enjoyed both of his as well.

I'm so glad we found this little coffee shop that offers vegan and gluten free options!

Only thing to keep in mind is parking is a little tricky and there are only about 6 spots to park on the side of the building.
We will definitely be back to try more! And lastly the service was amazing! Upon entering to explained the menu and let us know substitutions can be made to make gluten free, etc. She was so sweet.

This is a cute gem. I'm glad that a random scavenger hunt included this spot. The chai was fresh and the empanadas was delicious. The kitchen closes at 2pm on Saturdays. So, if you would like something from there, try to get in early. They have a small bookshelf filled with books and there are also boardgames. This is a great place to chat with friends, read a book, have a tutoring session, remote work, etc. I highly recommend this place.

Haven’t tried any of the food yet but looks phenomenal including the gluten free empanadas. (Will order first chance I’m not running late for work) The cold brew and espresso has survived me and tastes amazing and each time delivered perfect to taste! The vibe is super comfy cozy and service is friendly and quick if on the run. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area.

I can't say enough about this neighborhood business! Exceptional coffee, a very cozy atmosphere, and I am always a fan of an eclectic feel. Staff is friendly and willing to go about and beyond. My 1st choice when looking to get my caffeine fix and get a little work done outside the house. They probably pull the best espresso shot in the area. They don’t use alot of sugar syrup or milk bc they don’t have to. Most of the flavor in my latte comes from the espresso itself, never bitter, and always starts my day off on the perfect note! Try the lavender latte! It is surprisingly out-of-this-world delicious!

This is my favorite coffee shop in the bay area! The empanadas are so delicious, and the coffee is WONDERFUL. Their seasonal drinks are a must try as well!

It has really good vibes for a study session. I love coming here!

This place is phenomenal! We’re staying local for a few days and decided to drive to this place - 10/10 recommend and they have gluten free and vegan options available 🥹👏🏻. Made me (and my stomach) so happy!! Highly recommend their avocado toast with gluten free bread! And don’t forget their coffee!! Their factory latte…. iced….AH-MAZING!!

My wife and I were in town for spring training and wanted to find a good local coffee shop. Southie Coffee is the best coffee we’ve ever had…we both described the taste as clean/pure coffee. It’s hard to describe. We bought a bag to take home with us and then decided to buy a second. I made several cups at home this AM and it was fantastic. If you live within 3000 miles of Clearwater, FL you need to go try Southie Coffee! Go….now!!

So glad I stopped in here! Was looking for a good coffee shop nearby to hang out and do some work. Southie was perfect. Breakfast Sammy was awesome (I’m sure they probably don’t make the rolls it’s served on, but they are fantastic). Great baked goods like muffins and empanadas as well. Several vegan options in case you want that. Good WiFi if you need it.
Update: walked in here for just the 2nd time ever and Steven (working the counter) nonchalantly looked up and said “Hi Stu” after remembering my name from 3 days prior. Wow.

Wonderful, personal service, carried out with genuine care and respect. Staff went to great lengths to figure out how to make my coffee exactly the way I wanted it.
Always a good experience at this location.

I still haven’t had any food as of yet but I have had a coffee 3 or 4 times and they are wonderful. As are the chia lattes. (Pro tip 2 caramel 1 vanilla with almond milk tastes like a pumpkin roll).
Also even though I haven’t had the food it looks and smells amazing every time I go in.

Warm cozy true coffee shop. Large interesting coffee menu. They offer plant based milks 😊. My oat milk latte was creamy and delicious. They're empanadas were a treat - chicken, beef, mushroom red pepper. Large assortment of homemade muffins. Our choice of banana walnut was a good one! Will be back

Hidden gem. Old gas station converted into a coffee shop which is pretty cool. Inside has a great layout with plenty seating and chairs. Coffee is great and they also have smoothies too. Overall a great coffee shop that I would highly recommend.

Ordered delivery from this place. Was excellent. Got two breakfast burritos and 2 empanadas! Everything they gave me was top quality and we were very impressed. Def putting them into the rotation.

We also got a dirty Chai and an Iced Latte. Coffee was top notch!

Very comfortable Coffee House. The coffee was great, however, I did not care for any of the 4 kinds of empanadas that we ordered to share. They were not spicy enough, and the crust was hard.

We stopped in after finding a punch card in a Geocache, and we were very pleased! Absolutely chill coffee shop vibe, books to read, games to play, and delicious pastries and food options. I had the chicken empanada and it was the best I have ever had (ate before I took a picture!) my daughter had a Southie’s breakfast burrito and said it was very good too. My coffee was perfect with just the right amount of sweet and coffee. Also have vegan and gluten free options! Huge benefit!

I love a good coffee shop and Southie is by far my favorite. I love it so much I go every morning. The Best coffee and the nicest employees!

The girl behind the counter recommended lavender in my coffee and let me say, GAME CHANGER! The bacon egg and cheese sandwich was also amazing I ate it before I even left the parking lot LOL!! Highly recommend!!!
